I Didn’t Believe It… Until These Things Happened
Manifestation is one of those topics people either completely believe in or completely reject. I don’t think it’s that simple.
I don’t know whether manifestation works exactly the way people describe it, but I do know this: I’ve had experiences that made me stop and think.
Not every manifestation came true. In fact, many of them didn’t. But some happened in ways I never expected.
One experience stands out.
I kept imagining myself going to a particular place with someone. I didn’t tell them about it. I didn’t ask or even hint at it. I simply visualized the moment over and over again. I imagined how it would feel, what the place looked like, and how happy I would be.
A few days later, that person unexpectedly made the plan themselves.
It happened almost exactly the way I had imagined.
Another time, I kept thinking about a specific person messaging me. I visualized seeing their name on my phone. Then, without me reaching out first, they sent me a message.
Was it coincidence?
Maybe.
Was it manifestation?
Maybe.
I honestly don’t know.
These aren’t the only experiences I’ve had. There have been several small moments where I imagined something repeatedly, and later it happened. Not every visualization became reality, but enough of them happened that they made me curious.
One idea I hear often is that you attract people who match the energy you’re in.
When you’re confident, peaceful, grateful, and genuinely happy, you often meet people who reflect those qualities. When you’re constantly anxious, angry, or negative, you may notice more situations and people that reinforce those emotions.
Whether this happens because of “energy,” psychology, or a combination of both, I can’t say with certainty. But I do believe our mindset influences our actions, and our actions influence the opportunities and relationships we create.
Instead of blindly believing or rejecting manifestation, I’ve decided to treat it like an experiment.
Whenever I want to manifest something, I follow a simple process:
- I become very clear about what I want.
- I visualize it in detail and imagine the emotions of already experiencing it.
- I repeat the visualization consistently instead of doing it once.
- I stay open to opportunities instead of trying to control every outcome.
- I take action whenever I can.
- Then I let go and see what happens.
The important part is that I don’t expect every manifestation to come true. Some will. Some won’t.
And that’s okay.
My goal isn’t to prove a theory. My goal is to understand my own experiences.
Over the next few months, I’m planning to run more manifestation experiments. I’ll write everything down — what I visualized, how often I did it, what happened, and what didn’t happen.
Whether the results support manifestation, psychology, coincidence, or something in between, I’ll share them honestly.
This isn’t about convincing anyone to believe what I believe.
It’s simply the journey of someone who became curious after experiencing a few moments that were hard to ignore.
Maybe manifestation is real.
Maybe our mindset changes our behavior in ways we don’t notice.
Or maybe it’s a mix of both.
I don’t have the final answer yet.
But I’m willing to keep experimenting until I find one.
