Moving forward one second at a time

We are all time travelers From the very second we’re born Our vessel—planet Earth As each second ticks, as each minute passes we are all on a journey of our own a time-traveling trip around the sun Given a one-way ticket no choice to turn back no chance to rewind no option to pause Only moving forward through time irreversible through the vastness of the universe We dream of time traveling by some complex capsule through some sort of magical portal but aren’t we already? While not moving back, but only forward with a one-way ticket our vessel—planet Earth hurling through the galaxy
