The final iteration of our Governance staking pool begins this week

The procedural extension of our Governance staking pool starts on Cometa on October 4, 2024, and will continue until May 31, 2025.

As you may already know, ASASTATS Utilization 2.0 introduced two types of subscription models, DAO governors and User subscriptions. The utilization changes were introduced in our March blog announcement DAO Subscription and Governance staking Updates when we defined that as of 1 June 2024, we will limit access to the DAO subscription model as we transition to a Pay-As-You-Go Model.

In the blog announcement mentioned above, we gave a limited-time offer to secure lifetime access to the features and privileges that come with being an ASA Stats governor. One of the requirements to become an ASA Stats DAO governor through our Governance staking program is to stake for at least 10 months. Since the maximum number of votes and related permission on our site is available for the full 12-month staking period, we need to extend the Governance staking option for all the users who began staking before June 1st.

We promised in the March blog announcement that we’ll reward our early supporters on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, this requirement-driven extension of our Governance staking program aims to allow ASASTATS holders to become ASA Stats DAO governors. We’re allocating staking rewards to Cometa’s escrow to fulfill the technical requirement of the staking pool only.
