THE BACKSTORY

Dorts are a working-class clan. THE working-class clan. Knowledge and thought have essentially been bred out of them as a species. They live to work and have very few, if any questions. The Dorts are miners by trade and tradition. As a clan, they have never been the head of any type of uprising. Until Now.

They work in tireless circles of time. Generation after generation performing the exact same task. Mining. The Dorts are equipped with formidable machinery, yet only use them for means of their trade. Some say their mining blasters are amongst the strongest in the universe. Only the Dorts know their true power.

While Dort 13 is one of the clansmen in a traditional sense, he is truly one of a kind. He stumbles upon destiny’s path by finding the first artifact to the star machine. Dort 13 is an anomaly. The whisper of sentience. This cracked coding allows him to venture off-world. This cracked coding allows him a first thought.

Now he begins to enter the Hunt.
