It was on a random Tuesday in March when everything shifted.

People were busy immersed in their own affairs when a notification — a notice about a certain group’s activities moving forward— proved to be the beginning of a shift no one will be able to dismiss.

For some, the date is a scar. The timestamp isn’t just a marker; it’s a jagged edge in their memory they can’t stop tracing.

At the crisp hour of four in the afternoon, Korean standard time, on the tenth of March of this year, the veil was taken off what everyone thought was one of the most secure groups to ever exist.

On that seemingly harmless Tuesday, the notice of Heeseung leaving ENHYPEN to pursue a solo career created a ripple of shock not just across the ENGENE fandom but even beyond. Later, this will be seen as the most unexpected departure in the industry.

It wasn’t instant — the reactions. It was like watching a Jenga tower slowly topple over as a block was placed where it shouldn’t have been.
