Last week: "It’s 30°C! Summer is here!"

This week: "Why can I see my breath and why is the farm trying to eat my boots?" Since Saturday evening, it’s been rain, rain, and more rain. The fields are muddy enough to qualify as a body-strength workout, and every trip across the yard feels like a gamble on whether you’ll keep both shoes. Add in being soaked, covered in mud splatter, and still feeling cold hours after getting home, and it’s safe to say Mother Nature has a sense of humour. Alberta weather: where you can go from dreaming about air conditioning to wondering if you should have brought gloves in less than 48 hours. 😆
