Why BJP winning elections in Kashmir is the best result for democracy!

While highly unlikely, yes i do think! While BJP ideologies are Hindu centric, one thing is also true for them – there is no other political party who has as much conviction to take India forward as BJP does. And they know that they can do it faster with support for all communities living g in harmony, internal unrests are distraction and unnecessary cost of resources slowing them down! While it may seem that some laws they brought in were targeting Muslim community, but not many in the world can say in favor of tripple talak which was abolished or the WAKT board excessive privilege taken away. They are a little harsh and rough to execute things which have been pending in India, which particularly got delayed/aggravated due to religion and caste politics.

Some other local muslim dominated parties winning the election, most likely will have ideological differences with BJP which will be a hindrance in growth of Kashmir and its people. If the new party wins elections due to divisive politics among people against India, then it will be a bigger hindrance for the growth.

Alternatively BJP winning the election will put an added responsibility and pressure on BJP to make a significant difference to uplift the state and adapt secular approach to manage a Muslim majority state, which will set the stage to change the fabric of BJP.

Off-course this will an assumption that BJP leaders deal with such responsibility maturely! and coming to power!
