Toxic Friends

Why do I only encounter toxic friends?

I’ve had this one friend for such a long time, yet, she started giving me the silent treatment without an explanation. She’s done this before and it’s happening again. It’s time for her to stop treating me like trash, because I’m the opposite of trash. Unlike her, she’s pure trash.

All she does is use me : for this assignment, for that job, to please her mother to say that she has a responsible friend(which she’s quite old to do that, why go tell your momma everything? probably because she’s unstable). She needs to learn that she can’t just drop me when she pleases and pick me up when she needs the advantages. That’s not how life works.

So what am I doing?

Ignoring her.

Why should I ask her to tell me what’s wrong, why should I try to patch things up?

I made those mistakes before and I won’t be making it again, that’s for sure. Instead, I plan on completely ignoring her, acting like she doesn’t exist, because such a person like her shouldn’t exist.

Yes, she’s spread rumors about me and I have merely two friends, but that’s perfectly fine.

I now know that those other ‘friends’ aren’t fit to be my friends if they’re going to believe every rumor they hear about me. At least my two friends are kind to me, and care about me.

If you’re encountering something similar, I want you to know that you don’t have to just go through it, push through it, it’s okay if you ignore them, be rude to them, give them an attitude, because if they do that, why can’t you?
