Some Stories Are Never Incomplete
It all started with a question I never expected to answer
Some Stories Are Never Incomplete
It all started with a question I never expected to answer
“What if I leave one day… will you remember me”
I smiled “You never left You’ve always lived here somewhere between my heartbeat and my breath”
Her name was Anvi
She wasn’t someone who asked too many questions but her silence always carried answers
And me I’m Rahul Or at least I used to be when her laughter echoed next to my coffee cup
We first met at a small café on a rainy evening Nothing dramatic Just two people sharing the only empty table in the room Two tired hearts One warm corner And a slow beginning we didn’t know would mean so much
☕ Love came quietly
There were no grand gestures No promises No labels
Just rain Just coffee Just us
Every day Every evening Every silence became a little more comfortable
“Your silence speaks louder than most people’s words,” she told me once
“And your eyes complete every story I never dared to write,” I said
We never said the word “love” But we lived it
💔 And then she left
One day she was quiet Quieter than usual
She didn’t touch her coffee Didn’t smile Didn’t cry
Just handed me a white envelope and said “I’m leaving I won’t come back Please don’t ask why”
And I didn’t
Some questions hurt more than the answers ever could
So I let her go With nothing but her shadow in my memory And the taste of unsaid words in my mouth
🕰️ The years moved on
But I stayed
I became a writer Published books Got invited to events Signed autographs
But I never moved on
Every character I created Every chapter I finished Had a piece of her in it Sometimes as a smile Sometimes as a scar
At the launch of my book Some Stories Are Never Incomplete I stood in front of a hundred people And read aloud the first line
“She left me without a reason But I kept holding on To her To the silence To the story”
And there she was Smiling in the front row Anvi
🌧️ Another rainy evening
So much had changed
And yet The rain felt the same The coffee tasted the same Her eyes Still full of the things we never said
We sat across the same table once more No questions No blame Just the quiet
“Why did you leave” I finally asked
She looked into her cup and said “Because back then your love made me feel weak But today It gives me the strength to face myself again”
🌸 Our final conversation
We didn’t start again Because not every story is meant to be rewritten Some are just meant to be understood better
As she stood up to leave She turned to me and whispered “I’m leaving again But this time I’m not afraid Because I know You’ll never forget me”
I smiled
“You live in every word I write Whether you stay or go You’re always here”
💌 A Note from Me
Some relationships aren’t bound by time They live in pauses In echoes In the chapters that never end
This wasn’t a love story This was our story And some stories Are never incomplete
