Why must you prove love today? Because a date demands it?

That’s like a fire alarm that rings once a year and everyone applauds because the house hasn’t burned down yet.

Calendar love is bureaucracy with scented candles.

And you know it.

🩸 THE PROBLEM — THE DARK TRUTH

Valentine’s Day isn’t about love. It’s collective indulgence.

“I ran emotional economy mode 364 days, but today I buy roses.”

That isn’t romance. It’s Relationship Black Friday.

Netflix asks daily if you’re still watching. Your relationship does too. Just without a pop-up.

Most people invest more energy into Tinder bios than into their marriage.
