Are Original Dell Laptop Chargers Really Better Than Cheap Alternatives?

I used to think all laptop chargers were basically the same until I started having charging warnings and battery issues on a Dell Latitude. After testing a few cheaper adapters, I realized many third-party chargers either heat up too much or charge very slowly during heavy use.

Switching back to a proper Dell-compatible charger made the laptop much more stable, especially during multitasking and long work sessions. Wattage also matters more than most people realize because lower-power chargers can struggle when the laptop is under load.

I recently tested this on a refurbished Dell business laptop from Laptop Giant and the difference between a quality charger and a cheap generic one was actually noticeable in daily use.

Curious if others here also had issues with unofficial Dell chargers or if newer USB C adapters are becoming reliable enough now?
