UAE’s Humanitarian Initiatives During Ramadan 2025

The holy month of Ramadan has commenced, and the UAE is taking significant steps to reinforce its reputation as a global leader in compassion and generosity. This year, the nation has unveiled a series of cross-continental humanitarian campaigns aimed at addressing the growing humanitarian needs worldwide.

These initiatives underscore the UAE’s core values of mercy, tolerance, and philanthropy. Each Ramadan, the Gulf state launches various charitable programs to support those in need across the globe.

One of the standout efforts this year is Operation Gallant Knight 3, which involves the donation of 100 tonnes of food supplies and 5,000 copies of the holy Quran to families affected in the Gaza Strip. Initiated ahead of Ramadan 2025, this campaign seeks to alleviate the suffering of Palestinian families amid ongoing humanitarian challenges.

Additionally, the Emirates Red Crescent has announced that its Ramadan programs will benefit 4.5 million people in 53 countries. These initiatives encompass Iftar meals, Zakat al-Fitr, Eid clothing, Ramadan food baskets, and emergency food aid, reinforcing the UAE’s commitment to human solidarity.
