2026- B-tech PassOut Fresher:-

Hello readers, As already mentioned on the profile, My name is Shivendra.I have done my B-tech from “Noida Institute of engineering and technology” Greater Noida.I just finished my last semester exams and practicals last week. I am learning the concepts and practicals of software engineering and AIML products from the last 2 year.I was not knowing anything about technology until my class 12th.Actually ,I was preparing for NDA, but not able to succeced in that and landed in B-tech, direct admission on the basis of my class 12th PCM marks and got a decent branch Computer Science(Cloud Specialization).First year went on just exploring the new city ,new college and making new friends for the rest of my life.Coming from the rural cities I just got a lot of independence and just started to exploring my life a lot.In second year,I discovered that if you are a B-tech CS student then you have to learn DSA(Data Structure and algorithm) to land in a job.This was a totally new thing for me because there was not any computer science subject or any computer language was taught me until my class 12th.So ,I started to learn DSA but initial I just not able to get anything about it’s logic and all.I explored a lot of youtube channels for learning DSA, and in result I started to learn DSA from a channel (PW Java).

Things were going smooth until I started to make problems on leetcode and GFG, just not able to understand the logic and patterns of the problem. Second year passed in that dillema only how to learn DSA and how many questions to solve for different patterns.I was just solving the DSA problems randomly from different topics. In second year only ,we have got a mini project as college assignment, in which we(my team members) made a project called “Restaurant review analysis”, which was just using HTML , CSS and little bit Javascript and some hard coded JSON format data for analyzing reviews.Until this I was knowing nothing about Software development and all.When teacher asked the full form of CSS to one of my close friend, he was not able to tell the full form of CSS.We were that dumb until our 4th semester.

Then ,it came 3rd year with different new things, I was struggling between four different things such as (9–5 college, maintaining 70% attendance,Learning DSA and Learning Development). Fighting with my thoughts , I came over a conclusion that I will leave DSA learning and focus only on Development but it was always on my mind that if I will not be able to solve DSA problems,then it will be tough for me to land a job.I learn Frontend for a semester and then Backend almost 2–3 months, build the tutorials projects and all.By the fear of not landing in a job ,again I started to learn DSA in the mid of my 6th semester.

In 6th semester few friends gathered and made a plan to go for a trip to Uttarakhand(Kainchi Dham Mandir and Nainital Visit) those were the best moments of ours.We just explored the city and it closeness to nature , cold environment,and a substantial peace just mesmerized us as we have gone from a very fast pacing and crowded city (DELHI NCR).The coldness under our legs and the sound of the bells of the temple and “Arti”of kainchi just attracted us towards it ,a fast flowing clean and blue water river coming from the high mountains just flowing by the side of temple ,the voice of the water collisions over the stones generating a sounds which was working as a therapy for our mind.It was just amazing exploring the Uttarakhand.I will explain the futher story of Nainital in another blog. So, 6th semester ended at a beautiful note.

In 7th semester we started for the preparation of placements ,grinding,struggling ,facing a lot of rejections and just moving forward quitely, nearly rejected in every company in almost after 4–5th rounds.In some companies not able to clear 1st round.Gone unplaced in 7th semester.In hope of that soon i will get placement in 8th semester, giving exams ,grinding on DSA,reviewing Resumes and it’s projects. 8th semester also passed on ,no placement in any company.One week passed after end of my college. But , I haven’t lost hope of getting placed just grinding over DSA and applying for companies and side by side trying to build a startup with some of my Super seniors.The best thing is that ,I have got a place to live after end of my B-tech with no job,because all my friends who are unplaced most of them had to go home because there was no option of staying here ,just applying from home and grinding. I am living with Super senior or you can say my elder brothers , from them learning engineering and it’s concepts and now I have started to fall in love with engineering and solving the different problems through softwares .We have made an app named as “Studybo” (made for peoples to stay consistent with their goals ,remove distraction and help them to achieve their goals)hitting hard on playstore and getting a good reach in which I have learnt a lot of new things.How to use AI effectively and make AI to write AI assisted code just a super learning.
