They don’t fight when seasons change, They twirl and fall, not calling it futile They ride the wind with quiet grace, No fear of landing, on the ground, into the river
They dance in green through summer’s song, Then turned to gold when days grew long They let go soft, without a plea, Teaching us how to set things free
We hold so tight to what must go, Afraid of loss, afraid to slow But maybe we, like them, should believe That change won’t break us, just adjust with it
So when life shifts and colors fade, Be like the leaves, don’t be afraid. Fall gently, knowing you’ll rise again, When springtime calls you back to when
