A forgotten early 20th-century hymn reimagined as a global worship anthem. Originally based on the hymn “They Come From the East and West”, this song draws from the biblical vision found in Luke 13:29 and Revelation 7:9 — a great multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language gathered before the throne of Christ.

The hymn traces its roots to a Swedish gospel song by evangelist and composer Johannes A. Hultman, later translated and adapted into English through several hymn traditions in the early 1900s.

For this arrangement, the original message was expanded into a musical journey of the nations. Each verse is sung through a different cultural voice — East Asian, African, and Middle Eastern — before joining together in a unified worship chorus. Rather than merely singing about the gathering of the nations, the song seeks to let listeners hear that gathering unfold.
