Zionism is Narcissism: The Prophetic Mirror They Didn’t Want You to Hold

How personal trauma, toxic masculinity, and a mother’s vow converge in the remembrance of Palestine. Written from one soul to another.

I. The Mirror Between Men and Nations

I’m a victim of a domestic violent childhood and a domestic violent relationship, as most children from broken homes find themselves in as adults.

Once I realized the generational loop of narcissism and trauma, I ended the cycle for my daughter and I left. Then I studied the hell out of it so that my child will be better informed than I.

And the pattern I first saw in broken relationships and broken childhoods, ended up being the same one I’d see on a geopolitical scale. And once I saw it, I couldn’t unsee it. So now you have to see it with me.

Zionism is narcissism scaled.

To a catastrophically global scale.

It is the wounded child who chose power over healing.

The man who was neglected as a boy and became a tyrant. (The kind of man that make women say “it’s all men,” you know the type)

Zionism is a systemic ideology that says, “If I control enough, I won’t be hurt again.”

I’ve experienced this pattern personally from my family, friends, partners, bosses, pick-me girls and boys. But I’ve learned best from the men I’ve dated, probably because of the intimacy factor involved.

I’ve loved men who were too afraid to feel, too proud to kneel, too hollow to witness love when it arrived ready to see them as they are and be loved anyway.

They wanted mirrors, not partners.

They wanted adoration, not truth.

I see that same dynamic in Zionism.

The world is not just politically sick. It is spiritually repeating its own trauma-inflicted narcissism back to humanity.

II. What Is Zionism, Really?

I’m not asking for the sanitized version or the textbook justification.

I’m going to tell it how I see it, in my own truth:

Zionism is not Judaism.

Zionism is not Jewish identity.

Zionism is a political ideology — one born from trauma, baptized in fear, and weaponized through erasure.

At its root, Zionism says:

“We were once displaced. Now we will displace others to feel safe.”

It is an ideology born from legitimate pain, but distorted by the refusal to heal that pain.

Instead of turning inward, it turned outward — and did what narcissism always does:

• It made itself the center of the story.

• It cast anyone who questioned it as an enemy.

• It demanded loyalty instead of love.

• It built walls where it could’ve built trust.

• And it learned to erase the oppressed so it wouldn’t have to face the mirror.

Zionism became a theology of exceptionalism — one that doesn’t just justify apartheid, land theft, and genocide — but narrativizes it as holy.

And the world let it happen.

Because the narcissist doesn’t just dominate — they perform victimhood better than anyone.

And the worst of them, they go and find somebody with authority, like a therapist, to validate their own delusions as a resource to continue avoiding to heal with justice, love, and mercy.

And maybe we’d be a different world today if they do finally choose to.

III. Zionist Arabs: The Inward Collapse

There is a particular kind of grief that only comes when the betrayal is internal.

I expect colonialism from colonizers, silence from the privileged benefitting from the status quo.

But when I see Arabs upholding Zionism —

when I see the oppressed upholding their oppressor’s erasure of their people, their culture, and their history —

that is a collapse so violent it feels cellular, to me, to a witness to the Palestinians.

Zionist Arabs are the child who joined the abuser. Doesn’t that feel like something in-between what psychologists cal Stockholm Syndrome and the Cinderella Phenomenon?

They are what happens when your nervous system is rewired to survive proximity to power.

Not by resisting it — but by worshiping it.

It is the colonized mind cosplaying as a liberated one, as a means to an end, the end being — their life.

It. Breaks. My. Heart.

Because one day, if their life is spared, they still will not be able to truly live…

Not with what they’ve had to do to survive.

And I’m not speaking from hatred.

I’m speaking from the scream in my spine.

The somatic heartbreak of watching a people swallow the very poison that has murdered them for 77 years — and call it strategy.

No.

This is not strategy.

This is self-erasure.

This is Stockholm syndrome in blood-stained keffiyeh threads.

And when I ask this, I am in tears:

How can you hate yourself that much?

Because every time you betray your own,

you are not just harming the other —

you are killing yourself twice.

Once through the act.

And again through the silence that follows.

This is not just about politics.

This is about the spiritual physics of betrayal.

The betrayal of Creation to Creator.

And the karmic collapse that will come for those who forget that loyalty to power is not survival — it is soul decay.

IV. The Soul Physics of Harm

There’s a law older than any constitution.

Older than borders.

Older than gods made in man’s image.

It’s the law of our soul, ordained by our Creator.

When you harm one human, you harm all of humanity.

Therefore when you harm another, you harm yourself times two.

Because you are one that is a part of the whole, as we all are. (The Law of One)

It doesn’t matter how justified you feel.

It doesn’t matter what history you hide behind.

The moment you lift your hand —

whether with a weapon or to scroll too quickly past a post about Palestine (because your silence is the loudest violence in this war) —

you have already fractured your soul.

Zionism is built on a karmic illusion:

that power can insulate you from pain.

It can’t.

That domination can rewrite destiny.

It won’t.

That if you control the story hard enough,

long enough,

and with enough capital and political power to fund it

then you won’t have to feel the original wound.

That you won’t have to heal the origin of our humanity’s cries.

But the soul doesn’t work that way.

Listen very carefully:

What is real cannot be destroyed.

You can bury a truth.

You can bomb it.

You can bulldoze it.

But if it’s a living truth — it will resurrect.

And Palestine is a resurrecting truth.

That’s why they fear those who advocate for Palestinians. They fear their “therapist-ally” will not be enough to keep their disillusioned fantasy as all of our realities.

That’s why they silence us.

That’s why college students are having their futures ruined for using their privileged voices to protect what Love has always meant to mean for us, from our Creator.

Love is freedom.

That’s why being a free human being is a God-given birthright.

That’s why they shadowban every word that remembers this ancient truth.

Because the truth doesn’t need permission to rise.

It just needs to be witnessed and remembered.

Love,

Sonia
