Want My Personal Meal Plans?
If you liked my story and want something more practical to follow, I’ve put together an ebook: “The 30-Meal Blueprint: Lose Weight or Gain weight.”
It’s simple, easy to follow, and packed with real meals I’ve tried myself.
Get it here 👇
At my heaviest, I was 85kg. I didn’t feel good about myself at all. My confidence was low, I hated how my body looked, and deep down I knew I had to change.
When most people hear “weight loss,” they think about suffering, starving, or running miles they don’t want to run. My story wasn’t like that. I actually enjoyed the whole process, and that’s exactly why it worked.
The Turning Point
I didn’t have some dramatic moment where a doctor scared me, or someone made a comment that broke me. It was simpler than that: I just looked at myself and said, enough is enough.
I wanted to feel proud of myself. I wanted to look in the mirror and not feel disappointed. So I decided to commit 100%, no excuses.
My Approach (Simple AF)
I didn’t follow any crazy program. I created my own routine, and honestly, it was easy to stick to because I liked it.
- I cut out carbs and sugars.
- I made sure to eat fewer calories than I burned (1700kc to be precise)
- That’s it. No complicated diet, no magic formula.
The best part is that I loved it. I didn’t feel like I was on some strict diet. I was just eating in a way that worked for me.
I was all in from day one. Every time the scale went down, every time my clothes fit better, every time someone noticed the change it just pushed me to keep going.
When you enjoy the routine, discipline doesn’t feel like discipline anymore. It feels natural. That’s why it worked.
The Results
After just 4.5 months, I went from 85kg to 69kg. On the outside, I looked different; leaner, sharper, more athletic. But the real win? My confidence shot up through the roof.
What I’d Tell Anyone Starting Out
If you’re at the beginning of your journey, here’s my advice:
Don’t overcomplicate it. Keep it simple.
- Find a plan you actually enjoy, that’s the secret to sticking with it.
- Remember, every little bit of progress boosts your confidence.
- Go all in. Half-hearted effort gets half-hearted results.
Real-Life Tips That Helped Me Stick to It
One thing I’ve learned is that weight loss isn’t just about the diet plan, it’s about the little habits that make the journey easier. These small hacks helped me stay consistent without feeling like I was suffering:
• Zero-calorie sodas: They satisfied my cravings for something sweet and fizzy without adding calories.
• Chewing gum when bored: Sometimes I realized I wasn’t hungry at all — I was just bored. Chewing gum kept my mouth busy and stopped me from snacking unnecessarily.
• Keep low-calorie snacks around: Things like cucumbers, carrots, or sugar-free yogurt, even fruits helped me stay on track.
• Drink a lot of water: Most of the time when I thought I was hungry, I was just dehydrated.
These little hacks might not sound like much, but stacked together, they made a massive difference.
And if I could do it, trust me — you can too.
