He said that I am an angry daughter, that it burns him.

but isn’t it because of them — because of him?

I was once a star that shines brightly, not until I was forced to dim my light just to understand him.

When I was just a child I thought I have the perfect family that every child is wishing for, but reality wakes me up from this fairytale life of mine.

He was my superhero not until he removed his mask,

What’s supposed to be a gift from him became a weapon of mine to see the real him — what kind of father is he.

“I WANNA MARRY A MAN LIKE MY DADDY”

Not until the sand castle I build has been ruined by him.

I love him, but it wasn’t enough to hold on — it wasn’t enough to forgive and fix a shattered heart of mine.

I tried to hold on, I tried to believe he’s my superhero but nothing really last.

Every time I tried to hope for a better tomorrow with him, like a little girl who wait’s for her daddy to come home and play.

But reality always slapped me the truth that anything that is broken cannot be fixed even how much I try my best.

And that hurts me that I become an angry daughter i dont want to be.

IM AN ANGRY DAUGHTER

Because he made me one.

He made someone like me to cope with fire, to protect herself by something that can burn anyone who will try to hurt her.

He made her daughter an angry daughter.
