Countdown 2026: Antichrist Rising

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, Clarence House announced that the new king be officially known as King Charles III. While some may have previously scoffed in the past of rumors of the new king as Antichrist, with developing events in the world, these long-held, far-fetched ideas might need to be further reconsidered.

And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names. And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority. REV 13:1–2

Tim Cohen wrote in The Antichrist and a Cup of Tea, that (then) heir to the throne is none other than the Antichrist. Cohen’ evidence included his name calculating to 666 in both English and Hebrew, the symbols in his coat of arms are identical to those of the “first beast” of Revelation 13, a direct descendant of the Merovingian's, and that his Welsh home, Llwyn-y-Wermod, is notable because Wormwood is the way the world will end, according to the bible.

The Royal Family has links to several countries across Europe, including Romania, and it turns out that King Charles is the descendant of the real-life Dracula. Charles III is the heir to Vlad the Impaler’s bloodline. The mayor of Alba Iulia even proposed to grant title Prince of Transylvania as recognition as ambassador of the Transylvania region all over the world.

Others were equally concerned with the bronze life-sized statue in Brazil, immortalizing him as a muscular, winged god dressed in nothing more than a loin cloth. “This represents Prince Charles saving the world,” said Jose Siqueira Campos, the governor of the Amazonian state of Tocantins.

Charles III in recent years has caused some concern for his decision to change one of his titles, as “Defender of the Faith.” He has changed it to say, Defender of Faiths”, his rationale that all of his subjects will identify with him, not just the Christians. This is a major departure from the past, as the King of Great Britain is also in the position as head of Church of England.

Bible prophecy associates the Antichrist with the building of the Third Temple (2 Th. 2:3–4). In 2019, Pope Francis traveled to Abu Dhabi to meet with Sunni Muslim leader Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb, to sign a global peace covenant called the Document On Human Fraternity For World Peace.

An interfaith council to oversee projects advancing tolerance was formed as a result of the declaration, and named the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity. UAE will build the Abrahamic Family House, which will include a mosque, synagogue and church.

Meanwhile, Pope Francis ordered that the Holy See and connected entities move financial assets to the Institute for Works of Religion (IOR), known as the Vatican bank. According to the rescript, all financial and liquid assets held in banks other than the IOR must be moved to the Vatican bank within 30 days of Sept. 1, 2022.

Pope Francis also dissolved the leadership of the Knights of Malta, a global Catholic religious order and humanitarian group, to install a provisional government ahead of the election of a new Grand Master. Founded in the 11th century during the Crusades, the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, has been a sort of hybrid entity within the Catholic Church.

With elements of a religious order, it’s also a sovereign entity under international law, enjoying diplomatic relations with over 100 nations and the European Union, and virtually all of its activities are administered by the order’s lay members.

As of late, Charles III hasn’t been free of scrutiny after being caught in a “cash-for-honors” scandal, for allegedly “fixing” royal honors, through his trusted aide and confidant, and revelations of his intimate relationship with the now-disgraced BBC presenter Jimmy Savile, on his role in dealing with royal family “disasters”.

Historians have noted both Charles I and Charles II reigned in times of huge political turmoil. Today, with famine caused by rising food prices exacerbated by the Ukraine War, stock market analysts warnings of an incoming economic collapse, lawlessness and greed from loss of faith in institutions, and foreboding of nuclear escalation.

On the eve of the pandemic going public early 2020, Charles III warned The World Economic Forum, a revolution in the way the global economy and financial markets work can save the planet from the climate crisis. Charles III urged at COP26, an aggressive action to fight climate change, likening it to a “military-style” effort requiring trillions in major private investment.

At the 25th anniversary of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, Charles III called for a return to “tradition” as a means of combating “rapacious desire for continuous economic growth” and the “mechanistic and reductionist approach to our scientific understanding of the world around us”.

“Wherever you look, the world’s population is increasing fast, it goes up by the equivalent of the entire population of the United Kingdom every year. Which means that this poor planet of ours, which already struggles to sustain 6.8 billion people, will somehow have to support over 9 billion people within fifty years.” — King Charles III

He concluded his address by mentioning C.S. Lewis’ famous statement in Mere Christianity, that “sometimes you do have to turn the clock back if it is telling the wrong time” and “going back can sometimes be the quickest way forward”.

The scriptures say the Antichrist will come to power and rule for 42 months. As Charles III approaches the prophesied 42nd month of his rule, only then will historical doubts cast about his destiny be answered, which would fall upon March 2026.
