• We got to visit the St. Michael’s Abby once again with our PALS Bible study group. It’s such a beautiful place in Silverado, California.

• Hubs and I enjoyed seeing the movie:

“The Devil wears Prada, 2!”

It was very fun to watch! And very well done!

• I enjoyed meeting up with an old (AVON) friend of mine (at “Rock N Brew”) SO FUN!

• Hubs and I attended a local event called:

“Fullerton Remembers”.

It was a concert filled with lots of fun memories. There were many musical stories that were all about our city. (I also saw some older photos of someone that I used to sell steel to ages ago…Leo Fender).

• One day I decided to upgrade my Devotional book bag. My older book bag (on the left side of the photos below) had torn due to the weight of my books. Now I’m far more organized!

• Our gardeners transplanted some of our Aloe plants to an above ground area. They have been wonderful gardeners for so many years.

• This month we have seen many good movies in our local theater. We really enjoyed the Michael Jackson movie! Wow! It’s a must see!

• Our kind neighbor brought over a half of a large watermelon! Yum! This is just a portion:

• My son and his wife gave me such nice gifts to celebrate Mother’s Day!

• And hubs gave me some very beautiful roses!

• The church handed out carnations to all the moms on Mother’s Day:

• There are days when a nice “cup of Joe” is a real pleasure:

• I cleaned out my closet and found some very old sandals that I can still wear! Yay!

• A friend from church gave me a beautiful bracelet from her recent trip to France. Sweet!

• The three of us took a walk at the nearby Muckenthaler Cultural Center and Museum. Lots of fun!

• Hubs loves working in the yard and planting new plants.

• I’ve had this same cup (see below ⬇️) for a long time and a friend of mine from New York has always loved it. So, hubs searched for a brand new cup online and we sent it to her to enjoy! Here is her photo that she sent me (on the left…and my cup photo is on the right side)

Thank you to hubs for always being so thoughtful and sweet!

• A neighbor gave us some homegrown grapefruit.

• Hubs and I changed out some of the yard flags.

• We felt like going to Hobby Lobby one day:

• We found a favorite new cup at Hobby Lobby. “Rescued is my favorite breed”.

• Hubs fixed a water feature for the birds.

• Hubs and I trimmed some of the pomegranate bushes around the Fort area today. It took two of us to complete the task.
