The developers at thenewboston have released an exciting new crypto project thats recently emerged into the blockchain community. At the project’s core lies a system of reimbursing the community in exchange for engaging in activity that adds value to the network. **Bitty**, a fun and interactive discord based role-playing game, is a fruitful byproduct of this approach.

What is the Bitty universe?

Bitty is a discord game designed to be the outlet where community members unite to accomplish quests, collect rare items, interact with virtual creatures or participate in the network-wide marketplace. Engagement builds your characters prestige, which is used to unlock more exclusive quests scattered about the universe. Item’s earned during your journey can be traded between players, or sold for TNBC, the primary currency in thenewboston blockchain. During your travels you will gain experience used to level-up your character, quantifying your characters progression and prominence. In Bitty, your allies will become your friends, and together you can explore all that bitty has to offer!

How do I get started?

Currently at the heart of thenewboston community is a network of discord servers, where members collaborate for both development and leisure. You can click here to join the Bitty Server! A bot will greet you once you’ve joined. Navigate to the #bots channel and begin by entering a “/” in the chat. You will be greeted by a host of shiny commands to assist you during your journey. To get you started (and prove companionship) the bot has a gift for you! Enter /tnbc faucet into the chat and you will be given some free coins. Your Bitty character has its own TNBC wallet which can hold coins you collect along the way. Coins accumulated can be easily transferred to other players, or external wallets using /tnbc send or /tnbc withdraw . Need a pro tip to make some friends? Send them a cookie using /tnbc cookie send. Cookies give a player experience when eaten, but choose wisely, you can only send a few at a time…

Raids:

Raids are a great way to begin interacting with the community. Occasionally, a monster shows itself, and needs to be taken down. The monster is often too strong to handle on your own, but maybe as a team you can handle it. If your legion prevails, you’ll be handsomely rewarded. If you’d like to see if any raids are active, do /raid .

Battle:

Battles are similar to raids, but you won’t have your team there to save you. Battles need to be fought in isolation, but the rewards can be just as sweet. If you want to start a battle, do /battle .

Trade:

Go to the #trade channel to view the bitty marketplace. Here you sell items you’ve earned throughout your journey. If you see something rare for a good deal, you might be able to buy it for a profit!

Whats Next?

Bitty is still in its early stages, but the developers have close ties to the community, always taking feedback and suggestions. In the future items earned in the bitty universe might go non-fungible. Participate early and unlock some rare exclusive NFT’s which could be seriously valuable in the time to come.
