Passed the Breeze

In the trees.

Odds and ends minds that bend the liturgy of life, mixed with assorted strife.

Preparing for the penance, Cleaning up the mess, Discovering the essence, And minimising stress.

I watch and wait till it is late, And stay within four walls, sometimes I am sad, Waiting for recalls.

And it’s when I lift the pen, And release the words And watch men go again, Doing what’s absurd.

I launch myself and fly away, And leave the strife behind, Quiet times spent down by the Bay, And let my mind unwind.

Across the crumpled waters, Beyond the blue, blue sky, My stepsons and my daughters, I wish that I could fly.

Passed the breeze and in the trees, And through the passing clouds, Could I ask and then say please, And quit the madding crowds.

Living in Australia, The land of milk and honey, Pieces of paraphernalia, Where the people’s god is money.
