Chubb -Interview Experience(2024)

About Chubb : Chubb is one of the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurance companies. It operates in over 50 countries, offering a wide range of insurance products.

This is ON- Campus recruitment , VNRVJIET For Data-Engineer or Full Stack developer role.

It basically have 3 rounds :

1st Round (Online Assessment):

We had a test on the Hacker Rank platform with 5 coding questions:

• Section 1: 3 questions — Medium level
• Section 2: 2 questions — Medium to hard (graphs level)

2nd Round (Technical Interview — Virtual):

This round lasts around 30 to 40 minutes. There were 3 members, and each one covered questions on different topics. I was asked about:

• Self-introduction
• JAVA: My go-to language was JAVA, so they asked me questions on Java like Java vs C, operator & constructor overloading, threads, and some basic questions on it.
• Conceptual: Difference between String and StringBuilder, how memory management is done in Java.
• DSA: Reversing a string, leap year, LinkedList: [palindrome or not, finding the middle element, deleting a node].
• Projects: They asked in-depth questions about my projects.
• SQL: One query on joins related to one of my DBMS projects.

3rd Round (HR Round-Virtual ):

The focus here was mainly on our projects, development, and communication skills.

• There were again 3 members.
• I was primarily asked about my projects, such as the tech stack I used.
• They also asked about the challenges I faced, my strengths, my best skills where I can give 100%, my best project to date, and similar questions.

Conclusion : Mainly focus on your projects and communication skills

Verdict : Selected and I am very happy to be a part of CHUBB
