It’s super simple, yet it never gets boring. Kids love it, adults sneak in games during meetings, and it’s been around forever (think ancient Egypt and Roman times!).

At Sanyezi — we love taking fun classics and making them even better. That’s why we’re launching a brand-new Tic-Tac-Toe Mode app with three cool modes to keep things exciting.

Here are the three modes that make this more than just another tic-tac-toe clone:

1. Classic Mode

The one you know and love.

• 3×3 grid
• Place X or O
• First to three in a row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) wins

It’s perfect for quick matches, teaching beginners, or settling who pays for the next round of drinks. No frills, no timers — just you, your opponent, and the satisfying click of victory (or the graceful art of forcing a draw).

2. Infinite Mode

Here’s where things get dynamic.

Each player is limited to only three pieces on the board at any time.

• Place a fourth piece? Your oldest mark automatically disappears (poof!).
• The board is in constant flux — pieces vanish, openings appear, threats dissolve.

Winning still means three in a row, but now you have to think several moves ahead while remembering what’s about to fade away. It’s tic-tac-toe with a memory test and endless adaptability. One careless move and your winning line collapses. Play perfectly? You might just keep the game alive forever.

3. Numerical Mode

Ditch the X’s and O’s — now it’s odds vs. evens.

• One player places odd numbers (1, 3, 5, …)
• The other places even numbers (2, 4, 6, …)
• Win by getting three numbers in a row (any line) that sum exactly to 15

This mode is basically tic-tac-toe disguised as a number puzzle. (Fun fact: it’s mathematically equivalent to standard tic-tac-toe when you map the numbers onto a 3×3 magic square, where every row, column, and diagonal adds to 15.) It’s a brain-twisting workout — great for sharpening arithmetic, pattern recognition, and strategic thinking without feeling like “math class.”
