Minutes Of Meeting With The Late Retired PIA Pilot Ishaq Of Pawaka

Even I Could Not Beat His Spontaneity Levels; He Told Me WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY?

My father told me stories about his maternal uncle Ishaq, who served at the PIA (Pakistan International Airlines). He specifically told me that he was not a corrupt man and always fulfilled his role assigned to him as a pilot.

This includes fueling of the airplanes and also managing food not only for the passengers but also for the cabin crew as well. Due to his great work ethic, Ishaq went on to climb the career ladder as a pilot and had close ties with the upper management of the PIA.

His son is also currently serving in the PIA as a pilot, and somehow, under the guidance of his wise father, he developed an interest in airplanes, which prompted him to create airplane toys that could fly.

Now here is the incident that I wanted to highlight to my audience. I had the chance to meet with the late Ishaq of Pawaka in a local community gathering; however, after two hours and observing him silently, I noticed that a lot of people came to meet and greet him. Additionally, I noticed that he was busy socializing, so I went towards him and greeted him once again (after two hours).

The 80-year-old late Ishaq asked me in response to my greeting him again, "Why? Didn't you meet and greet me two hours ago?"

After this incident I told myself, “I cannot mess/manipulate with this guy," so I left the vicinity and sat in my car and drove back home.
