I am the Sun I am here for you To help you through your day To put a smile on your face To lift your spirits. I am here to relieve you of a painful day or memory To remind you that someone is thinking of you I am here all the time, even if you don’t always see me I am here for all humans, animals, plants, and trees To help them grow and give them the spirit to survive You may not see a lot of me at certain periods But I have to take care of everyone in this huge, troubled world I may at times be blocked by the cloud, but I am still here 24 hours a day Trying my best to break through I may at times be too strong for you But you know what to do, so just give me a wave from time to time I am here to give you strength for all the loved ones you have lost in life I am here for not just your lifetime but the lifetime of your planet Because I am here to help your children and your children’s children grow Just as I am here to help all young animals flourish When the world is at its darkest moments I am still here to give you hope No matter what race, colour, religion, or your beliefs you may have I am here for all of you. When you are at your lowest or loneliest I will try to make your life a bit brighter I am the Sun I am here for you
