MPL ID S15

Yesterday was the last day of MPL ID Season 15. My team didn’t make it to the first place. I couldn’t reach them but I’m still gonna present this letter for them.
I’ve been following this team for several years now. we’ve been through several ups and downs. Every path they chose, every turn they take, I got to watch them grow each passing day. So I know very well, to get where we are now has never been an easy journey. But at the same time, I know that whether we’re on top of the world or at the rock bottom, there will always be those who look down on us.
I tried to believe the bricks they threw at us would pass like everything else — ”So just ignore it”, I said. But carrying quiet pain is heavier than it seems.
I know now it’s something I’ll have to carry with me — a weight that doesn’t just disappear. Because words are the cruelest weapon a person can wield, and they cut deeper than most realize. It hurts. And if it hurts me this much, I can’t begin to imagine the pain my team is carrying. That’s why I used to leave a long message for them, especially after a heartbreaking match. Well, I’m still doing it right now as we speak.

Dear team — my guys— who’s currently fighting with the burning passion of being a winner, desperate voices aching to prove their worth, and heating emotions of wanting more,
You are never a failure.
I’ve always been proud of you, we always have. I know this season was hard — cruel in ways we didn’t expect. Now we’re forced to swallow the bitter truth of how fate chose to unfold. But even in the pain, there’s something unshakable: you did so, so well. You gave everything and that will always mean more than the result.

What is this pain to you?
I always believe that not all pain makes us stronger. Some pain just hurts — deeply — and leaves behind wounds, not wisdom. And that’s okay. You’re not weak for feeling it. Healing takes time, and strength isn’t always loud or immediate. Sometimes, it’s simply allowing yourself to feel and still choosing to keep going.
The ‘maybe one day’ we’ve been holding onto hasn’t arrived yet — but it will. One day, the chance to rise beyond our limits will come. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but every bit of effort, every drop of sweat, will eventually lead us there. Because that’s what we believe in. That’s who we are and who we’ve always been.
And if there’s one last thing I want to say, it will be good luck to us on the journey ahead. May the road be kinder this time. May hope rise where doubt once stood. And may only good things await us on the path we’ve chosen, together — no matter how long it takes to reach the place we dream of.

The best team — yesterday, now, tomorrow, and forever.
