Mayor Zohran K. Mamdani, I.G.

We all know what an O.G. is, but now, since the emergence of Zohran K. Mamdani, mayor of New York City, I will use another set of initials from the lexicon written by Black America, and that is I.G., which stands for Intellectual Gangsta.

There are many examples of how Zohran whips his adversaries’ asses, in public, with his brain and the deeply held morality that guides him, but the exchange in the screenshot below is my favorite. And only an I.G. with humanity and a talent for throwing shade would say, “bless his heart.”

I hope this exchange actually happened, because I cannot find the video anywhere on the whole, entire Internet.
