Passing the PNPT/PJPT or Ethical Hacking Cert, OSINT/External Pentesting Explained

I've been working on a few ideas for content here and on YouTube, and I wanted to start with my hands-on walkthrough series on what you need to know, at least for the PNPT/PJPT, if you are studying. So, making a YouTube series on what you just need to know. This cloud also expands the OSCP.

So one of the hardest concepts I heard about was OSINT/External, whether through pivoting or just trying to gain access. I can’t spoil it, but if you failed it and know the part I am talking about, it's not that you are doing anything wrong here; it's the small things you are missing.

I made a website on the subject to help out with what you think you are missing or having issues with:

[embed]HackerOps OSINT Lab A purpose-built cybersecurity training platform designed to simulate real-world data collection and investigation…hacker-intel-lab.base44.app

It’s a fake website built with Base44. However, I made it because I had a small struggle on the test, but after I figured out what I was doing wrong, I passed it within three hours. It’s really the small things that will get you on a test. Will it take you three hours? I've been studying the OSCP for a while, combining the 100+ boxes I did, already passed the pjpt, and studying like a madman. I was able to have that lightbulb/seen-it-before reference. So that is subjective on my end.

But this can help with small instances of OHHHHHHHHHHHHH moments you may experience. So I made that website to help with that.

This is what it basically looks like, and I go over how to solve the box here. Before you start opening Burp Suite on a website, take good recon notes of what the website is telling you. I also made a recon section on the page:

That way, you can check out or use the notes to remind anyone of the “oh yeah!” moments you can easily miss. Everything in the course is on the test (almost an overbearing amount of information).

This is also my walkthrough on my website to help study. Things to keep in mind for studying the PNPT. Check out the website's age, the software it uses, the team, reviews, and the small details. LinkedIn is also your best friend with OSINT.

The one thing I didn’t add from the website or what was on Heath’s course:

[embed]OSINT Framework Edit descriptionosintframework.com

This website is your best friend as well, and I put that in your notes. It’s an amazing mind map.

That will do it for this one. Thanks for reading. My favorite show came back on Cartoon Network. And man, if you love Regular Show, the lost tapes are amazing!! Take care and hack the planet!
