Walking on a random street, having random thoughts, I thought of the first time I felt her presence; when I cried for the first time, someone guarded me with the atmosphere of love. Since then, she has never left me alone. Struggling for my first step to my first walk to school, she was always there beside me from dawn to dusk. She gave me confidence, strength, and a lot of joy in my life. Whenever I had a terrible fall, she felt my pain more than me. Sometimes I think she knows my cells better than me. Whenever she was late to rescue me, her blessings took her place. When I was new to this home, she introduced me to winds, she taught me to live. When storms hit my walls harder, she stood there as a pillar. She stood awake the whole night just to soothe my cries. As said by her, a drop of tear of mine was none less than “Koh-i-Noor.” I don’t know why she protects me like a glass doll, along with trying to make me stronger every moment.
Sometimes I feel none can be such great, but when I see her, she forces me to believe that someone touches our feelings more than their feelings. Whenever I hold her hands, some magical energy passes to me, and I start feeling joy and protected. Her introduction is quite challenging, but even today, I call her the same word, which was actually my first word in this world, “Mumma.”
