ION Network Holds ION Roadshow at SMK Islam Pemalang, Strengthening Computer Network Engineering Insights

ION Network once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting vocational education development through the ION Roadshow event at SMK Islam Pemalang, held on December 11, 2025. This activity focused on Computer Network Engineering (Teknik Komputer Jaringan) with students from the same major, aiming to enhance their technical understanding and readiness to face the digital industry.

The ION Roadshow was conducted using an educational and interactive approach. The ION Network team delivered materials relevant to computer networking practices, starting from the basic introduction of network infrastructure, the functions of networking devices, to an overview of how network technology is applied in professional work environments. The material was presented in a structured and practical manner to ensure it was easily understood by students.

A representative from ION Network stated that this activity is part of the company’s active role in supporting the education sector. “We aim to share direct industry experience so that Computer Network Engineering students gain broader insights into network technology and its future development opportunities,” said the representative.

Students showed strong enthusiasm throughout the event. Participants actively engaged in discussions and Q&A sessions, particularly on topics such as networking practices, technical problem-solving, and the continuous evolution of network technologies. This interaction reflected the students’ high interest in information technology and connectivity.

SMK Islam Pemalang expressed appreciation for the event. One of the Computer Network Engineering teachers mentioned that the presence of industry practitioners added significant value to the students’ learning process. “This activity greatly helps students understand industry requirements. The material delivered is relevant and complements what they learn in school,” the teacher stated.

In addition to the presentations, the ION Roadshow also served as a discussion platform on the readiness of vocational school graduates to enter the workforce, including the importance of technical skills, professional attitudes, and the ability to adapt to the rapid development of network technology.
