As a Pi Pioneer, I Was Genuinely Excited to See My KYC Valued in a New Project
Hey fellow crypto enthusiasts, especially my fellow Pi Pioneers,
If you’re like me, you’ve been patiently tapping that lightning button, participating in the Pi Network ecosystem, and finally got through the KYC process. We know the value of that verification — it proves we’re real humans in a world full of bots, and it’s a cornerstone of the network’s integrity.
So, you can imagine my surprise and excitement when I stumbled upon a new project that not only shares a similar vision but actively recognizes and trusts our Pi KYC verification.
The project is called PHX.
I was exploring new crypto projects, and when I looked into PHX, I found out it’s built on the Stellar blockchain and has its own unique mining concept called PoDE (Proof of Daily Engagement). But what truly caught my attention was their verification process.
Instead of asking for my documents all over again, PHX allows you to get verified by using the same wallet address you used for your Pi KYC. For me, this was a game-changer. It felt like the effort we put into the Pi ecosystem was finally being acknowledged by the broader crypto world. It’s a small detail, but it speaks volumes about building a more interconnected and user-friendly Web 3.0.
Beyond the KYC integration, the more I learned about PHX, the more it resonated with the values that attracted me to Pi in the first place.
- Fair and Easy Access for Everyone: Their “Proof of Daily Engagement” (PoDE) is just what it sounds like. You participate through a simple daily check-in on their website. No expensive GPUs, no draining your phone battery. It’s about participation, not your financial or hardware power. This is from their whitepaper: “…allows daily participation via simple web interaction, independent of hardware or capital.”
- True to Web 3.0 Principles: PHX is entirely web-based. There’s no app to download from the Android or iOS stores, which means it isn’t dependent on Apple’s or Google’s approval. This commitment to an open, accessible web feels authentic to the spirit of decentralization.
- Transparency: All the final settlements happen on the Stellar blockchain, which is public and transparent.
Seeing our Pi KYC become a bridge to other projects is a huge win for the entire Pi community. It shows our collective effort is creating real value.
I’m not saying this is a “Pi Killer” or anything like that. I’m a Pioneer and will continue to be. But I am genuinely excited to see a new project that respects our community and is building with a similar ethos. It’s a sign that the future of crypto is collaborative.
For those who are curious and want to do your own research, you can learn more on their official site. I’ll leave my referral link below for anyone who feels inspired to join and wants to give me a little boost!
Thanks for reading, and happy mining.
