it arrives slowly without a hush like a promise made fleetingly meant to spin out

it comes from afar cleansing the spirit like a gentle wave crossing at length distance, desert, & doubt

it takes a seat near the seaside like a long-lost lover waiting for one beloved the stance — steady & devout

it comes, it stays, it grows this feeling unknown like an enchanting spell spreading as wildfire in the core of my being

it teaches me to discern the enigmatic & unrevealed like a mystical master unveiling nasty nuggets from a hermetic dwelling

it visits round the clock often stays inside of me like an intuition heuristic smelling events in time amid hoping and foreboding

it protects me now & then from every possible fall like a protector in person guiding me through & through every friction approaching

call it clairvoyance call it instinct, or belief like a providence in disguise the feeling manoeuvres each time rendering me more prudent and wise.
