Hallo Everynyan
I’ll begin this with a rather whimsical note… I’m starting this blog to chronicle my fictional/real life and practice my writing (I won’t be telling you which is which. You get to decide). And what better day to revive my old vice, a.k.a writing, than Easter? The day a man who was tortured, nailed to a cross, stabbed with a spear, and died, came back three days later fresh as a daisy.
Yes. A perfect day to resurrect.
As a silly writer who’s about to subject you to a rambling stream of my thoughts, I’d like to introduce myself. I’m Thomaachi, and I can’t wait to give you an 8-million-page essay on my life, likes, dislikes, and how much I love talking about myself. But this is a blog. Brevity is the name of the game here.
So who am I? I’m a writer/designer; my first career choice was inventor, but considering how I almost electrocuted half my family, I was duly barred from engineering. I’m currently working as an Editor, which contradicts my earlier statement of not writing very much. I assure you I’m not contradicting myself.
Writing is a very selfish act. The most indulgent, dripping darkness of chocolate can only get you so close to the feeling of writing. I write for a magazine, yes. But they’re in service to an audience. Here on Medium, I can be sure no one is going to read what I put up. Barring community guidelines, I can write just about anything.
In a way, I am of a dying creed. Soon, AI will take over. The technocrats our new lords. Our children will no longer be able to write, to read, or to understand. We as humanity will die out and be replaced by the bug people from Mars. I know it's typically lizards, but let's give bugs a chance, too. I mean, just a few weeks ago, Chainsaw Man ended. I was lukewarm about the ending. Mikumochi-san was furious. How can Denji’s story end like this? She declared war on Fujimoto then and there. It was a milk toast ending. Not good, not bad. Milk toast.

Apart from that, I don’t have much to say. We have a bright future ahead of us. “But Thomaachi, what about all the problems in the world?”
We’re humans. Fixing problems has been our thing since the beginning of time. Our ancestors did it back then, and we do it now. What else are you gonna do? Sit on your couch looking through a device constructed by companies to hold your attention for the longest time and add no value to your day?
Oh.
Wait.
That's it for today, people who aren’t gonna read my blog.
Love, Kindness, and Vengeance.
Bye.
