One year and two months after scoring his last free-kick, Juninho scored for Brazil in the 9th minute…

No explanation about this goal, so it’s not a free kick.

Ten days later, Juninho scored again the victory’s goal for Brazil.

I’m gutted.

25th August 2000

A new player arrived in Turin, and for free, it’s a brilliant deal.

Welcome, Thierry Henry.

Unfortunately, he’s injured so he can’t play the European Super Cup against Milan.

But who needs Henry ? Juventus won its second European Super Cup and in particular thanks to

the 17th free kick in Juninho’s career. Finally, he’s scored another one; this season is off to a better start.

First 2000–2001 season game in Serie A.

Vieri is already on track to match his previous seasons’ form, and Juninho has already bagged an assist for a big win at San Paolo.

In the second match, the Vieri-Juninho partnership secured another 3 points for the Old Lady.

First european game of the season. We’re facing Lyon , the team of Ronaldo and Ronaldinho.

Vieri scored (of course) and Henry scored his first goal in black and white. But Juninho did nothing.

When Vieri is not here, Luizão replaced him… and he did very well. Juninho made two assists.

Juventus crushed Lyon to secure its place in the next round. R9 scored for Lyon, whilst Juninho netted a brace

including a free kick, yes !

For the moment, the other bigs are late.

Juventus begins well the second group phase and our brazilian made two assists.

We beat Lazio to reach the quarter-finals of the domestic cup.

An important victory against the runner-up thanks to Vieira and Juninho.

Have I ever told you that when Vieri was out, Luizão really stepped up to the plate? 4 shots, 4 goals.

This has nothing to do with Juninho, who only played a few minutes here, but I reckon Luizão would be a first-team regular in 95% of the other Serie A clubs.
