Release 1 marks the initial launch of our new app, focusing on providing essential features for readers to personalize their experience and discover new books. This release aims to establish a foundation for future enhancements and user engagement.

Key Features:

  1. Profile Customization and Log In/Sign Up:

· Users can personalize their profiles by uploading profile pictures, editing their bio, and selecting favorite reading genres.

· This feature fulfills the user story 0001 — “As a reader, I want to customize my profile in the app to match my personal preferences and interests.”

2. Book Search Functionality:

· Implemented a robust search feature allowing users to search for books by genres and author names.

· Search results are presented in a visually appealing layout for easy book discovery.

· This feature aligns with user story 0002 “As a reader, I want to search books by genres and author names so that I can find my favorite books.”

3. Personal Book Collection:

· Features include downloading soft copies, grouping books into collections books, and accessing downloaded books offline.

Release 2 marks a significant milestone in our app’s journey, where we introduce enhanced features to provide users with a more personalized and enriching reading experience. Building upon the foundation laid in Release 1, we have incorporated user feedback and introduced innovative functionalities to meet the evolving needs of our readers.

Key Features:

  1. Book Suggestions, Recommendations, Ratings, and Reviews:

· Personalized recommendations sections have been integrated into the app’s homepage, providing tailored book suggestions based on user preferences and reading history.

· Users now have the ability to rate books they’ve read and leave reviews, contributing valuable feedback to the reading community.

· Interactive features such as ‘like’ or ‘dislike’ buttons have been added to enable users to provide feedback on book recommendations.

Furthermore, because the Agile process is iterative, we were able to modify and refine our strategy in response to changing needs and input. This iterative method guaranteed that the finished product satisfied our consumers’ needs and expectations while also facilitating continued development.
