AWALT Stands for “All Women Are Like That”

I was recently introduced to a new word, AWALT. More of an acronym, really, that stands for “All Women Are Like That.”

A “truism” spouted by the least true of the male persuasion.

Imagine it tossed out into the center of some grunting circle. All the men nod: “You can say that again, Moog.” It’s a data point, a show stopper, and an all-encompassing explanation for when they don’t get their way.

And OFFS, can you, even for a minute, imagine what a conversation would feel like with a man who says, “Oh, AWALT”? Even if he just says it to other guys, it’s easy to see. Incels or players, it’s like they have it preinstalled in their toolkit.

“Okay, sweetheart. It works like this…” or “Don’t get mad, little darlin’…” or “Listen here, sugar tits…” Okay, no one ever called me “sugar tits,” but I kinda want them to. I am prepared with a practiced rising knee.

And if these or other nuggets annoy me, well AWALT.

But let’s wander back to “AWALT” again.

Imagine a world where a little more than half of the people were all “like that.” No differences. No little quirks or variations. We just leave all that individuality nonsense to the boys.

What an exciting world. And by that I mean, of course, what a drudgery.

Besides, what is so great about sportsball and beer cans? Are you guys different because you don’t follow the same teams or drink the same logos?

Because I gotta tell ya, running around inside, running around outside, or running around while hitting things with sticks, seems to be quite AMALT* to these eyes.

But, seriously, who makes up shit like AWALT in the first place? What would drive them to that point? Obviously, they are unfamiliar with women outside their own bubble. Is that because they are too shy and so destined to live in the shadows? Or is it because they think quite a lot of themselves

I’m not sure which group I would dislike more except that only one of them would ever even consider calling me sugar tits.

I will give them this much, a guy could get to that pitiful position from different starting points.

I fully realize that my little tirade might get under the skin of a guy or two. It is not my intent. I like men in general. Heck, I’m married to one!

But there are others — ready to get their back up.

I have a feeling that the guys saying NAMALT (Not All Men Are Like That — ok, I made the acronym up*) are the very same ones that love throwing around AWALT. I think those guys are TFHA (Total Fucking Hypocrite Assholes) and really just need to STFU (Shut The Fuck Up).

*Oh my god. When I was edit/checking my story I found that NAMALT is a real thing. So I cannot take credit. Incidentally, NAWALT is a real thing, too. So there!

*And guess what, in all these acronyms, AMALT is not a real one, unless my penning it up now makes it so. But isn’t that funny when men might just well be the AMALTest ones out there, FFS!
