You Can’t Explain the Joy of Being in the Hills, You Just Feel It

For the longest time in my life, I have preferred staying in. Going out, exploring new things, has never excited me. Instead, I have always been afraid.

I'm not smart enough to be out in the harsh world.

I don't dress well.

I don’t speak well.

And being an introvert ignited these thoughts more in my head. I’d actually prefer being inside the home and watching travel videos. Surely you can’t call me wanderlust.

However, things changed as recently I’ve been to the hills. It was a short trip. Surprisingly, as someone who gets tired super easily, I had a great time there. So “great” that, in my mind I was thinking, next time when we come here, we’ll do certain things differently. So yeah, it was a successful trip for us (me & my husband).

I think every time you visit a hill station, you actually leave a part of you there. No amount of high-quality equipment that captures the beautiful scenery will give you the real vision of what you see when you are in that place, in that particular moment. That’s just ethereal. No video footage or photograph you see will do justice to those paradisiacal views.
