Mainstream: People still prefer Maggi in the evening over Bambino or sewaiya.

Me : In my hostel days, I found fulfillment in simple snacks: saving a roti from lunch and eating it with chawanprash, milk, and cornflakes. At home, we valued food directly from nature instead of packaged or processed options. Even today, I cook my own noodles or burgers on Saturday evenings to satisfy my taste buds, rather than eating street food — even though I was born in Delhi.

Mainstream: People prefer tea and coffee as daily drinks.

Me: As a child, I avoided them, preferring nuts and dry fruits with milk. As guided by my mother, I would think long-term and would prefer healthy options over short term gratification.

The Power of Asking

Why did this happen to me? Because I questioned. I asked: Why? How? Whom? For whom? That questioning led me toward enlightenment. I even questioned my Gurus, which may have gone wrong — but my curiosity was bigger than my peers.

Question. Ask. Observe. I felt this lacking among people. My observation power is strong, and it has shaped how I see the world.
