*Our task was to write a 100-word story, a drabble, using the magic word, *curious, **and describing what we see in the above image.

This picture was indeed curious. What about these ducks, swans, or geese in a pond with a crocodile?

Obviously, the crocodile has no concept of the danger he would be in if the geese or ducks discovered his presence. Have you ever been accosted mercilessly by a goose?

They are relentless. Why do you think that dear fellow is on stilts? Every time he came this way in the past, the birds drove him crazy with their perilous clicking at his heels and shins.

And the tree on the other side of the pond, that poor willow is still weeping.
