In June 2026, our community came together to donate ₹18,419 INR to Kiwanis Club of New Delhi (KCND), supporting their ongoing work in healthcare, rehabilitation, and inclusive care for underserved communities.

Established in 1978, KCND is a healthcare-focused NGO dedicated to transforming lives through high-quality, largely free-of-cost services for differently-abled individuals and those in need. Operating from its modern facility at Kiwanis Bhawan in New Delhi, the organization provides support without discrimination based on caste, creed, or background.

For more than 47 years, KCND has delivered life-changing care through three core areas of service: provision of artificial limbs, support for individuals with cerebral palsy, and physiotherapy and pain management services. This contribution helps expand access to rehabilitation, mobility, and compassionate healthcare for those who need it most.

Since 1975, the organization has focused on restoring water security in India’s arid regions through community-led efforts rooted in village self-reliance. Under the leadership of Rajendra Singh, they have revived traditional water systems and strengthened sustainable agriculture.

This contribution helps enable long-term climate resilience, improved livelihoods, and stronger, self-sustaining communities.

In April 2026, our community helped donate ₹22,356 INR to **The Leprosy Mission Trust India,** supporting an initiative that provides protective footwear for people affected by leprosy. This effort focuses on improving mobility, preventing further injury, and restoring dignity for individuals living with permanent foot damage.

Using advanced technologies like 3D scanning and computer-aided design, experts create customised, high-quality, and cost-effective footwear tailored to each individual’s needs. These shoes help protect fragile, nerve-damaged skin, reduce pressure on wounds, and prevent cuts, blisters, and infections. Through this, individuals affected by leprosy are able to walk more comfortably, regain independence, and improve their overall quality of life.

Jaipur Foot provides affordable, high-quality prosthetic limbs using innovative polymer-based technology, including custom-made sockets and the specially designed Jaipur Foot and Jaipur Knee. These solutions help both below-knee and above-knee amputees regain mobility and return to everyday life.
