When Common Sense Is Not Common

Another day, another rant article from Laura Owens, full of half truths and what reads like a temper tantrum from a child that cannot get their way.

Laura believes posting pictures, of what she thinks we should take as proof of pregnancy, will convince the world that she was pregnant. Ask yourself this; instead of going to such bizarre lenghts to convince everyone, wouldn’t it be common sense to show unaltered proof? Not sonograms that she altered, but proof. Looking at photos, of a woman known to doctor and alter evidence is laughable, except it is anything but humorous. It is deeply troublesome that a grown woman continues to display this behavior for all the world to see.

Common sense is truly not common at all. Common sense would have a person bring their doctor to testify; one that had actually seen and treated her. Common sense would have her proudly display an unaltered sonogram to the courts, through her medical provider (one without the word Fivver watermarked in the background). Common sense would not be ranting on Medium about how unfair the judge was when you perjured yourself on the stand. Common sense knows that HCG is an indicator of pregnancy, not proof of pregnancy. Common sense doesn’t tell the courts she was just seen at the doctor’s office last Friday, only for the doctor’s office to say they have never seen Laura. Common sense is just not common, especially when we speak of Laura Owens.

No matter how many rants she writes, we know the truth. We have seen the extensive evidence against her. We have seen her in court, unable to back up her claims as DeAndra quickly untangled Laura’s deceit, leaving Laura having a meltdown and screeching “that is not fair!” What Laura did not count on, when she first came into Reddit with her story, is that there were numerous doctors, lawyers, psychologists, nurses, paralegals, and other professionals in the chat. I am guessing she thought it was full of uneducated, slightly ignorant users. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

We have seen women like Laura before. People that believe they are the smartest person in every room and can quickly fool anyone, almost always end up the laughing stock of society. This case is not any different. Instead of fading from the public’s view and taking time to heal the immense inner turmoil going on, Laura continues to spin her narrative, tripping up on her falsified facts in each article.

The amount of support for Clayton Echard, Greg Gillespie, and Mike Marraccini grows larger every day. The speed of growth is like lightening spreading across the sky, state to state, in a hot summer storm. The truth is, no one can validate Laura’s story. There are no doctors that she claimed to be a patient of that have any record of her. There are no medical facilities where she claims to have had a sonogram, that have any record of her. She claims she went to Planned Parenthood on July 2, 2023 in Los Angeles for a sonogram, under a fake name. July 2, 2023 was a Sunday. Planned Parenthood is not open on Sundays and they do not see patients anonymously or under false names. Identification is required. Debunking that story took about ten seconds, because it is common sense.

I could go on and on, as Laura has been doing for nearly ten years. However, nothing I can say in an article will change anything. Each day thousands of people find the www.justiceforclayton.com website, or the @ClaytonsJustice on X, or Megan Fox, Dave Neal and Lauren Neidigh on YouTube, and they see the documents and the proof. The supporters for these victims of Laura Owens continues to grow.

If you don’t know how this ends, let me inform you. On June 10, 2024, the Honorable Judge Mata listened to Laura Owens and Clayton Echard in her court room. Judge Mata spent nearly a week pouring over the evidence and found that Laura was not reasonable or believable and acted in bad faith. Clayton won. So if you did not already know, the rants from Laura are coming because she lost. She did not get her way. Her lies did not prevail. She was exposed. The game is over and Judge Mata has referred Laura’s case to the county attorney for criminal prosecution. Know the facts. Refuse to be another person who gets sucked into Laura’s lies. There are already far to many people who once believed her, only to discover the fraudulent stories that span years.

As always, I am proud to stand behind and support Greg, Mike and Clayton; three great young men. These men are great inspite of Laura. Try as she may, and we all know she has been trying for many years, she cannot dull these men’s shine. You can’t hide greatness and you can’t fake greatness. You can call yourself a victim, a CEO, an abuse survivor, a business owner, a real estate investor, etc, all while living in your parents casita, but that doesn’t make it true. When there is no evidence, it is just a rant devoid of any common sense.

I wonder what Laura could have done with her life if she had chosen to live authentically. I wonder where she would be if instead of spending what should be the best years of her adult life, if she had been honest, accepted that not everyone you meet will love you, and actually done something productive. Perhaps she would have been happily married with children. Perhaps she would have been successful in business. Perhaps she would have a place of her own, instead of living at her parent’s property. Perhaps. We will never know because she chose the path of deceit and vengence. She chose to live in lack of mere common sense.
