Every International Women’s Day invites us not only to reflect, but to act with intention. In technology — a space that still faces challenges around representation, equity, and access — these moments become an opportunity to pause and ask ourselves a deeper question:

How are we truly building community among women in tech?

Breaking boundaries doesn’t always mean being loud. Sometimes, it means building bridges — of knowledge, trust, collaboration, and shared growth.

Leadership in tech is also about community

Events like Breaking Boundaries: Women Leading in Tech & Society, organized by GDG Brunswick, remind us that leadership is not defined solely by titles or roles.

• and nurturing networks that go beyond borders and industries.

Technology is powerful — but community is what makes change sustainable.

The keynote speaker for this event is SamVarthini Thangadurai, Founder & Community Builder at Vox Tactic.

Her work represents a form of leadership that deeply resonates with me: one that places people at the center and understands that communities don’t grow by chance — they grow through care and intention.
