Buckle Up — Tonight We’re Going to Space

Good evening, family. Sit down. Buckle up. Because tonight we’re not just studying the Bible — we’re going to space. And I don’t mean metaphorically. I mean, a 21-year-old kid from Berkeley just opened reservations for a HOTEL on the MOON. Ten million dollars a night. Elon Musk wants to put robots on Mars this year. Jeff Bezos is building a space station. Trump pledged to plant a flag on Mars by 2028. And everybody — EVERYBODY — is racing to get off this planet.

And nobody is asking the question your Bible teacher is about to ask: WHY? Why NOW? Why is every billionaire on earth suddenly desperate to leave it? And what does the God who MADE the heavens have to say about humans trying to move into them?

Tonight I’m going to give you the WHO, the WHAT, the WHERE, the WHEN, the HOW, and the WHY. I’m going to peel this onion all the way to the core. We’re going into Scripture, into Enoch, into the Zohar, into astrophysics, into the money trail, and into a question that will change how you read your Bible: Are the fallen angels — the ones NOT chained — inspiring this space race because they are homesick for the celestial realm they will NEVER get back?

ACT ONE: THE PLAYERS — WHO IS BUILDING THE STAIRCASE TO HEAVEN?

Player 1: GRU Space — The Moon Hotel

In January 2026, a startup called Galactic Resource Utilization Space — GRU Space — announced they are building the first hotel on the Moon. Founded by a 22-year-old UC Berkeley graduate named Skyler Chan. Backed by Y Combinator, investors connected to SpaceX, Nvidia, and defense contractor Anduril. They’re accepting reservations NOW.

The hotel will be an inflatable habitat surrounded by bricks made from lunar dirt, housed inside a lunar cave. Their stated mission? “The next trillion-dollar company isn’t building an AI agent — it’s building the first cities on the Moon and Mars, enabling billions of human lives to be born.”

😄 A 22-year-old is charging $10 million a night for an inflatable structure in a cave on the Moon. That’s a bounce house in a hole on a rock 238,900 miles away. And people are APPLYING. The deposit alone is more than most people’s house. But sure — let’s put the Palace of Fine Arts on the Moon. What could go wrong?

Players 2–5: The Full Cast of the Space Race

Player 2: Elon Musk / SpaceX — Mars Colony

Elon Musk has been talking about Mars since 2001. His vision: make humanity “multiplanetary.” The Starship rocket — 400 feet tall, the largest ever built — is designed to carry 100–200 people to Mars. A 2024 study in Nature concluded a crewed Mars mission is currently “unworkable.” Musk’s net worth: approximately $180–200 billion. He named his first planned Mars ship “Heart of Gold” after the spaceship in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy — a book where Earth gets demolished to build a hyperspace bypass. Let that irony marinate.

Player 3: Jeff Bezos / Blue Origin — Orbital Reef

Bezos backs Orbital Reef — a proposed commercial space station for tourism, research, and industry in low Earth orbit. His stated vision: move heavy industry into space and turn Earth into a “residential zone.” Net worth: approximately $200 billion.

Player 4: Above: Space Development — Space Hotel 2027

Another company, Above: Space Development, is racing to open a space hotel in low Earth orbit by 2027. Meanwhile, Orbital Assembly Corporation’s Voyager Station aims to host 280 guests with artificial gravity. Construction was targeted to begin in 2026.

Player 5: Nation-States

This isn’t just billionaires. China plans to land astronauts on the Moon by 2030. NASA’s Artemis program aims for a crewed lunar landing by 2028. India, the UAE, Japan, and the European Space Agency all have active lunar and Mars programs. Trump pledged a Mars flag by 2028.

Beloved, the money flowing into leaving this planet is STAGGERING. And we need to ask: where is this urgency coming from? Because it’s not just curiosity. Something is DRIVING this. Let’s see what Scripture says.

ACT TWO: WHAT GOD ACTUALLY SAID ABOUT THE HEAVENS

The Heavens Belong to God. The Earth Belongs to Man.

Psalm 115:16: “The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.”

Read that again. The HEAVENS are the LORD’S. The EARTH He gave to humans. There is a jurisdictional boundary. God assigned the heavens to Himself and the earth to mankind. When humans try to move into the heavens without divine invitation, they are crossing a property line that God Himself established.

📜 Aramaic Layer: In the Peshitta, “heavens” is “shmaya” and “earth” is “ar’a.” The word “shmaya” shares a root with “shma” (to hear/listen). The heavens are where God SPEAKS from. The earth is where humans LISTEN from. Moving into the heavens uninvited is like breaking into the broadcasting studio when you’re supposed to be the audience.

The Tower of Babel: The First Space Program

This is not the first time humanity tried to build their way into the heavens. Genesis 11 is the original space race.

Genesis 11:1–4

“And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech… And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.”

Genesis 11:5–8

“And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower… And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do… So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth.”

Then vs. Now — The Language Is IDENTICAL

Babel

“Let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name.”

GRU Space

“Let us build the first cities on the Moon and Mars, enabling billions of human lives to be born.”

😄 At Babel, they used bricks and slime. At GRU Space, they’re using lunar regolith and inflatable habitats. The building materials improved. The spirit behind it hasn’t changed in 4,000 years. Same project. Better brochure.

📖 Zohar Layer (Parashat Noach 75a): The generation of Babel was not simply building a tall structure — they were attempting to breach the firmament and wage war against heaven. Their sin was not architecture. It was an insurgency. The Zohar says God’s response was not anger but grief: “They are one people with one language, and they use their unity for rebellion rather than worship.”

📜 Midrash Pirke de Rabbi Eliezer Chapter 24: The builders of the Tower valued bricks more than people. When a brick fell, they mourned. When a worker fell, they did not pause. In 2026, when we ask how much a Moon hotel costs and the answer is $10 million per guest, we must also ask: who is being trampled on the way up?

God Established Boundaries — And Obadiah’s Warning

Acts 17:26–27

“And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us.”

God determined the BOUNDS of human habitation. The Greek word is “horothesias” — boundary markers, property lines. Humanity’s assigned territory is “all the face of the EARTH.” Not the face of the Moon. Not the surface of Mars. The face of the earth. And the PURPOSE of these boundaries? “That they should seek the Lord.”

What if the urgency to leave Earth is not a scientific ambition but spiritual restlessness? What if the real motivation underneath the press releases and pitch decks is a generation that cannot find God on Earth and thinks maybe He’s somewhere else?

Obadiah 1:4

“Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD.”

The Hebrew word for “nest” is “ken” — a dwelling place, a home. A hotel on the Moon is a ken among the stars. God’s response? “Thence will I bring thee down.” Not “I might.” WILL.

Isaiah 14:13–15

“For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God… I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.”

😄 Satan’s original business plan had five “I will” statements. SpaceX’s pitch deck has about the same number. The fonts are better now, but the thesis hasn’t changed: go UP to become like God. Spoiler alert from Isaiah: it doesn’t end at the top. It ends in the pit.

ACT THREE: ARE THE FALLEN ANGELS DRIVING THIS?

Not All Fallen Angels Are Chained

Now we get to the question asked — and it’s the question nobody in Silicon Valley is asking, which is exactly why WE need to ask it. The fallen angels who are NOT chained — are they inspiring this space race because they are homesick for the celestial realm they will never get back? Let me build the case.

The Chained — Jude 6 & 2 Peter 2:4

“The angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.” These — the Watchers of Genesis 6 who crossed the biological boundary and produced the Nephilim — are chained. Only 200 Watchers were specifically chained (1 Enoch 6).

The Free — Revelation 12:4

The dragon’s tail drew a THIRD of the stars of heaven. If a third of the angelic host fell, we’re talking about potentially millions of fallen beings. The rest? They’re still operational. Still active. Still influencing.

Their Location — Ephesians 6:12

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” The Greek is “en tois epouraniois” — in the HEAVENLY realms. The fallen angels who are still free operate in the heavenly places. They are in the ATMOSPHERE. They are between the earth and the throne of God. And they are restless.

They Begged Not to Be Sent Into the Abyss

I, Lady Janice, you caught something most people miss. Look at what the demons said to Jesus:

Luke 8:31: “And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.”

Matthew 8:29: “What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?”

Luke 8:32–33: “And they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them. Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were drowned.”

What They Asked — Three Desperate Requests

Don’t send us into the ABYSS

The deep, the abyssos — their greatest fear.

Don’t torment us BEFORE THE TIME

These entities know their judgment is coming. They know the timeline.

Let us go into the PIGS instead

They would rather inhabit PIGS than go to the pit. They are clinging to physical existence by any means available.

Now hear me: if these beings are desperate to stay OUT of the abyss and stay IN physical reality — and if they once inhabited celestial bodies and traversed the heavens freely — what would they feel when they look UP? Homesickness. Cosmic homesickness for a realm they abandoned and can never return to.

Enoch Describes Their Exile

1 Enoch 15:3–4

“Wherefore have you left the high, holy, and eternal heaven, and lain with women, and defiled yourselves with the daughters of men and taken to yourselves wives? You should have been spiritual, living the eternal life, but you defiled yourselves with the blood of women.”

1 Enoch 15:8–10

“And now, the giants, who are produced from the spirits and flesh, shall be called evil spirits upon the earth, and on the earth shall be their dwelling… The spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble.”

The spirits of the dead Nephilim became the demons that still operate on earth. They are earthbound. They cannot go back to heaven. They cannot ascend. They are grounded. Permanently.

The Zohar on Fallen Celestial Longing

📖 Zohar (Parashat Beresheet 55a): The fallen angels were stripped of their “garments of light” (levushei ohr) when they fell. These garments were their celestial bodies — luminous, glorified forms designed for the heavenly realm. The Zohar compares their state to Adam after the Fall — stripped of light, clothed in skin, permanently exiled from Eden.

📖 Zohar (Parashat Vayishlach 177b): The spiritual forces of the sitra achra (the other side) are described as constantly seeking to ASCEND but being repelled by the guardian angels at the boundary. They try. They fail. They try again. This is the pattern of the fallen — a perpetual, frustrated attempt to return to what they abandoned.

Now imagine these same beings whispering to Elon Musk at 3 AM: “Build a ship. Go to Mars. Leave the earth. Go HIGHER.” Not because Mars has anything they need. But because the ACT OF ASCENDING scratches an itch in their exiled souls that nothing on earth can reach.

The Ethiopian Bible’s Perspective & Follow the Money

1 Enoch 18:12–16 (Ethiopian Canon)

*Enoch describes seeing “a place which had no firmament of the heaven above, and no firmly founded earth beneath it; there was no water upon it, and no birds, but it was a waste and horrible place.” This is the prison of the fallen stars — the angels who “transgressed the commandment of the Lord in the beginning of their rising, because they did not come forth at their appointed times.”*

Even the TIMING of celestial activity matters to God. Rising before your appointed time is rebellion. The space race’s defining characteristic? Urgency. Speed. Get there BEFORE we’re ready. The timing is wrong. And wrong timing is the original angelic sin.

Book of Jubilees 5:6 & 10:8–9 (Ethiopian Canon)

God bound the Watchers “in the depths of the earth” until the day of judgment. But one-tenth of their spirits were allowed to remain free under the authority of Mastema (Satan) to test humanity.

These are the free agents. These are the ones with access to human minds, human markets, and human imaginations. And they are homesick.

ACT FOUR: FOLLOW THE MONEY — WHO’S FUNDING THE STAIRCASE?

Jesus said, “where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Matthew 6:21). Same principle. Let’s follow the treasure.

There are 280 million people facing acute food insecurity on THIS planet right now. Clean water is still a crisis in parts of Africa, Asia, and even Flint, Michigan. And we are spending $10 million per night to put someone in an inflatable cave on the Moon.

*Amos 6:1, 4–6:* “Woe to them that are at ease in Zion… but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.**”

😄 $10 million per night on the Moon. You know what you can buy with that on Earth? You can feed an entire village for a decade. You can build a school. You can drill 20 wells. But sure — let’s play golf on the Moon instead. Because THAT’s the most impactful thing in human history.

ACT FIVE: THE SCIENCE LAYER — WHAT WE ACTUALLY KNOW

The Firmament Question — Science Meets Scripture

Genesis 1:6–8

“And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters… And God called the firmament Heaven.”

The Hebrew word for “firmament” is “raqia” — from the root “raqa,” meaning to beat out, to spread, to stamp, like a metalworker hammering out a sheet of metal. Whether you interpret this literally (a physical barrier) or functionally (a boundary structure), the principle is clear: God DIVIDED the heavens from the earth. He put a boundary between them. A barrier. A firewall.

🔬 Astrophysics Layer

Modern astrophysics has discovered that space is not empty. The Van Allen radiation belts — two donut-shaped zones of charged particles trapped by Earth’s magnetic field — surround our planet at 400–36,000 miles altitude. These belts are lethal to unshielded humans. Mars has no magnetic field and essentially no atmosphere for radiation shielding. A human on Mars’s surface receives approximately 0.67 millisieverts per DAY — roughly equivalent to a chest X-ray every day for the rest of your life.

The firmament may not be a metal dome, but the radiation environment is a very real barrier between Earth and the heavens. God designed the boundary. Physics enforces it.

🔬 Quantum Mechanics Layer

In quantum field theory, the vacuum of space teems with virtual particle-antiparticle pairs popping in and out of existence. Space itself has a structure, an energy, a fabric.

Hebrews 11:3: “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”

The invisible quantum structure of space was described in Scripture millennia before physics discovered it.

The Heavens DECLARE — They Don’t INVITE

Psalm 19:1–4: “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun.”

The Heavens DECLARE

They SHOW. They UTTER. They SPEAK.

Their Purpose

Communicative, not residential. God put the stars there to TELL you something about Him, not to give you a second address.

The Heavens Are…

A billboard, not a bedroom. A sermon, not a suburb.

😄 Imagine reading a billboard that says, “GLORY OF GOD” and your response is “I’m going to build a hotel on that billboard.” That’s the space tourism industry in one sentence.

ACT SIX: THE PROPHETIC LENS — 2026 ON GOD’S CALENDAR

As in the Days of Noah

*Matthew 24:37–39:* “But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”**

What Characterized Noah’s Days?

1. The Watchers descended and taught forbidden technology.
2. The boundaries between celestial and terrestrial were violated.
3. Humanity used the forbidden knowledge to build things God didn’t authorize.
4. Violence filled the earth.
5. “Every imagination of the thoughts of man’s heart was only evil continually.”

In 2026:

1. Technology is advancing beyond human comprehension at an unprecedented speed.
2. The boundary between Earth and space is being actively breached.
3. Humanity is building things — AI, CRISPR, space colonies — without asking if God authorized them.
4. Violence fills the earth — the Iran war, Ukraine, Sudan.
5. The entertainment, pornography, and AI-generated content industries indicate that imagination is being directed toward evil continually.

We ARE in the days of Noah. The boundary violation is not just genetic this time — it is jurisdictional. They are building the Tower again. And God is watching.

Daniel’s Final Vision & Where We Are on the Calendar

*Daniel 12:4:* “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”**

“Knowledge shall be INCREASED.” The Hebrew “tirbe ha-da’at” means knowledge will multiply, overflow, and become excessive. We are drowning in knowledge in 2026. We have more information than any civilization in history. We can map the genome. We can detect heartbeats from 40 miles away. We can build factories on the Moon from lunar dirt. But knowledge without wisdom is a weapon without a safety.

📜 Aramaic Daniel: The Aramaic root “sagal” means to increase greatly, to become many. It’s the same root used for the multiplication of people before the Flood (Genesis 6:1 — “men began to MULTIPLY”). Multiplication without boundaries produces the same result in every era: corruption, violence, and divine response.

Where We Are on the Calendar

Today: April 11, 2026

Hebrew calendar: 24 Nisan 5786. Day 9 of the Omer Count — the 49-day walk from Passover to Shavuot (Pentecost).

The Wilderness Season

We are in the wilderness between redemption and revelation. The Israelites were in this same period when they received the Torah at Sinai. This is the season of preparation. Not the season of launching. The season of LISTENING, not building.

The Essene Solar Calendar (1 Enoch 72–82)

The spring season is governed by angels of planting, growth, and patient cultivation. It is NOT the season of premature harvest. Building a Moon hotel during the Omer is spiritually building during the time assigned for walking and counting — not arriving.

Every generation that builds a staircase to heaven without God’s invitation gets scattered. The building materials change. The result doesn’t.

NOT ALL FALLEN ANGELS ARE CHAINED.

The free ones are active, restless, and homesick. They cannot return to heaven, so they inspire humans to build the ride. Try the spirit behind every “visionary” project.

THE DEMONS BEGGED FOR PIGS.

They would rather inhabit swine than face the abyss. That level of desperation doesn’t stop at pigs. It whispers to billionaires at 3 AM: build, ascend, escape, go HIGHER. Ask: whose voice is behind the urgency?

FOLLOW THE MONEY.

$10 million per night on the Moon. 280 million people are hungry on Earth. The prophets called this “not grieving for the affliction of Joseph.” God takes notes on allocation.

KNOWLEDGE WITHOUT WISDOM IS A WEAPON.

Daniel said knowledge would increase. He didn’t say wisdom would. We can build a Moon factory in 6 weeks for $5,000. We still can’t feed every child on Earth. The gap between knowledge and wisdom is the gap between Babel and the Kingdom.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT IS HERE.

You don’t need a rocket. You need a prayer closet. You don’t need to colonize Mars. You need to disciple your neighbor. You don’t need an inflatable habitat on the Moon. You need the Holy Spirit inflating your heart right here in Texas, in Nigeria, in Uganda, in Kenya, in Pakistan — in every place God has assigned you to be a light.

He Fills Heaven AND Earth

*Jeremiah 23:23–24:* “Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.”**

You don’t have to go to space to find God. He fills heaven AND earth. He is at hand AND afar off. He is in your prayer closet in the Middle of the Ocean, Texas, AND in the farthest galaxy. You cannot escape His presence by moving to the Moon. And you cannot access more of Him by leaving the jurisdiction He assigned you.

Psalm 139:7–10: “Whither shall I go from thy spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.”

Even if you take the wings of the morning — even if you board a Starship and ride to Mars — His right hand still holds you. You cannot leave His jurisdiction. You cannot escape His love. And you don’t need a $10 million hotel room to be in His presence.
