How Ariana Grande Might Become The Millennials New Karen Carpenter

First off, allow me to say that I’m not picking on Ariana nor do I dislike her. Is she a very talented woman who’s both good at singing and acting? Yes, but is her personal life a bit of a hot mess and she’s collecting a bunch of generational curses due to her penchant for taking married men? also yes. I’m also bold enough to say that when I see an upcoming train wreck, I’ll at least yell out to those on the track as well as to those watching, WATCH OUT! before anything bad happens. However when it comes to Ariana, it might be too late. This article counts as my prediction but I hope I’m wrong.

Where Is Her Family?

Keep in mind, I’d say the same thing about a person who wasn’t a public figure. But today I’m calling out the main people in Ariana Grande’s life to ask if anyone cares about her enough to make everything stop around her including this tour she’s on and get her the help that she clearly needs? Looking at old video footage of her past concerts in 2019 versus her current one, The Eternal Sunshine Tour are extremely difficult to look at.

Some of the knee high boots she had which fit quite well back then are very loose on her now. Ariana no longer has the energy to dance the same as she did before, she’s a lot more frail like she’s getting ready to blow the hell away. And I don’t know why but was anyone else aware of the Tumblr page she had where she displayed all of the weird snacks and drinks she who has an eating disorder had? I got to see it and it was very gross and disturbing. Why has her family or anyone who really loves this person not staged an intervention for her?

Did you know that the average person who suffers from anorexia has the highest case mortality rate and the second highest crude mortality rate of any mental illness. 10,200 deaths each year are the direct result of an eating disorder — that’s one death every 52 minutes. That’s almost a damned hour. And singer Karen Carpenter was one of them who died from heart failure from her eating disorder at the age of 32. Ariana will be 33 at the end of June.

It’s The Equivalent To Seeing Someone Engulfed In Flames And Acting Like Nothing’s Wrong

I know that she came out and did a video addressing those who spoke about her physical appearance. And somehow Ariana thought it was a good idea to never speak on someone’s body whether it’s through good intentions or not and to that I have to say, Respectfully Ariana, shut the fuck up! You have people, parasocial stans who claim to give a damn about you constantly making excuses over how you look versus those of us who clearly see that there’s a problem and we just don’t want to see you die by wasting away. And to those who love bringing up Chadwick Boseman’s story and how fans and others were curious about his appearance during the last years of his life when he was dying from colon cancer, is not the same thing as a fucking eating disorder for Christ sake!

There are parents of children who are fans of Ariana who now have to have that uncomfortable conversation with their sons and daughters about Ariana’s dramatic weight loss, even blocking her from their children’s Spotify accounts. People who go out of their way swearing that people like myself are being haters all because we care enough to say out loud that we see that something is very wrong and she needs to get control over it before it’s too late. You know the difference between real people who have souls versus the ones who are paid bots and NPC’s. The NPC’s and bots will go along with any and everything and remain quiet even when they know things are bad.

Now I’ve written about Ariana before concerning her friendship with Cynthia Erivo and whether or not they were more than that, I also said that she wasn’t the only reason she’s a hot mess the way she is, I said that Dan Schneider is one if not the main reason Ariana is publicly crashing out and that maybe that role she had back in the day as Cat Valentine on the Nickelodeon series, Victorious (2010–2013) is what fucked her up.

And I think after that whole donut debacle that happened along with the bombing at her concert, the untimely death of her then boyfriend Mack Miller that she did get blamed for, maybe she needed a safe space to be in and she’s been stepping out of her skin and into another every time the going got tough for her. And this isn’t like any of her peers where they change their outfits or looks aka (Era’s) in order to sell a new album, what Ariana does is completely different, Ariana changes not only her clothes, hair and makeup, but she changes her entire personality as well.

Ariana is about as close to a famous, freaking skin walker that we know of in real life. And every few years or so, she’ll transform her image the way a snake sheds it’s old skin, and out comes her new persona. No Control

Because this is Hollyweird we’re talking about here, maybe her crying and carrying on the way she was alongside Erivo during the press junkets for their film Wicked was just a small piece of what Ariana goes through behind the scenes. Maybe Ariana is surrounded by males telling her day in and day out how fat she is or how she’s not good enough to the point where she feels like she has no control over what she does anymore besides what to eat and perhaps that is what she controls now to the point where it’s causing her to fade away and nobody is doing or saying a damned thing about it. I guess as long as the gravy train keeps going and everyone is getting paid, it doesn’t matter.

The Thinner Spell

On the spiritual side of things, a part of me thinks that Ariana maybe messed with the wrong woman’s man and maybe that wrong woman threw some dark magic onto Ariana to the point where she begins to waste away before the public’s eyes like that Stephen King book Thinner. I know that may be a stretch but I believe in dark magic just as I believe in light magic and this planet wouldn’t be in the horrible way that it is unless there was no dark magic keeping people and things in the messed up state that it’s currently in.

Cat May Have Caused Her To Lose Herself

Not to sound all dramatic and whatnot but Ariana did make mention of not letting go of that Cat character she played on Victorious. She stated that people use to come up to her telling her how much they loved that character so much that she just decided to stay being that character. And how it took her a very long time for her to separate herself from cat and become herself again. Well who’s to say that she really ever went back to herself? Do we know who the real Ariana is? Better question. Does she?

Clearly Ariana has been abused throughout the entertainment industry both mentally and physically so profoundly that it affected her to the point where she can now pretend to be someone else. Like a person having MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder) And maybe all of those phases we’ve seen her go through or era’s was really nothing but that. Maybe that’s why she’s made mention of having her memory erased. I don’t know, I’m just thinking and writing out loud of what it could be. If I’m wrong, I apologize. But it does bare a case study considering what ended up happening to Amanda Bynes, another child star who was under Dan’s career management.

Damsel In Distress

I also feel that Ariana has decided to get smaller due largely, no pun intended, because maybe she low-key believes that her being skinnier makes her appear more helpless, more like a damsel in distress if you will. And everyone loves a damsel especially if you happen to be a fan of that particular person who has had many years causing or playing a part in the chaos that has interrupted her life as well as many others. And maybe this is her way from going from being a dangerous man-eating woman to now a sweet, soft spoken, tiny lady who couldn’t possibly be accused of what she’s done in the recent past.

I mean did you know that Ariana paid a visit to her now ex boy toy Ethan Slater’s now ex wife Lilly Jay while Wicked was in production and she even held their son Ezra? I guess there are those of us who are generational curse breakers and then there are those like Ariana who collect them like Thanos and his precious infinity stones.

It’s Ok To Dislike Someone But It’s Not Ok To See Them In Need Of Help And Ignore It

Karen Carpenter died of heart failure on February 4, 1983, at the age of 32. Her passing was the result of long-term complications from anorexia nervosa, an eating disorder she suffered from for years. The people around her probably didn’t have an understanding about what to do or how to go about approaching Karen with her problem. It also didn’t help that she tried keeping her illness to herself.

But I think it’s fair to say that we’ve come a long way since 1983 when it comes to helping those who have this particular disorder, and the people who are around Ariana right now can take this opportunity to get her the help she needs because even though a good many people may not like or even listen to Ariana’s music or watches her film or TV shows, she doesn’t deserve to just wither away and die just like Karen did.

Here’s two musical powerhouses where one left this earth far too early, filled with a ton of goals yet to be accomplished and her light was blown out all because of how she felt about food and her self image and Ariana is slowly but surely catching up to her whether she realizes it or not. I wish nothing but the best for Ariana and I hope that she learns to love herself. I hope she loves herself enough to eat again and to stay away from unavailable men and just be with whom she really wants to be with. Because I find it sad to hear that she’s low-key apart of the rainbow community but somehow can’t express that part of herself. If you all care about Ariana the way you do, then step in and get her help right away before it’s too late and Ariana becomes a R.I.P hashtag.
