As a stressed out human being, you‘ve probably heard this a thousand times

What I‘m about to tell you is so eye-rollingly cliché you‘ll probably scroll away.

But I‘m going to tell you anyways, one last time ;)

For I have a feeling it could give you some real peace of mind, for good.

So let’s go on this path together and see it appear as we walk it, shall we?

The “wisdom“ I‘m gonna share with you is: Everything passes.

You‘ve heard it a thousand times, but let me tell you my story

so you‘ll be able to actually apply it:

I‘m on a road trip right now and I just observed how a stormy cloud passed by.

While driving under the cloud all you could see was heavy rain.

But a few minutes later, we drove out of the cloud

and the sky was painted blue,

the landscape bathed in sunlight

and the day felt lighthearted again.

It‘s weird because I looked back and there still was that dark heavy cloud of rain back there

and in front of us was the most picture-perfect sunny landscape.

It‘s such a weird feeling because normally when you‘re at home and it rains,

it rains as long as the clouds are there and that‘s just the wheather of the day.

But on the road, you can just drive past a cloud and the rainy wheather is gone too.

It makes you realize that your current wheather isn‘t the whole world;

It‘s just one cloud.

And if it doesn‘t pass by, you can move out of there and leave it behind you ;)

As I mentioned before, you‘ve probably heard of this metaphor already many times,

but we often tend to understand something in theory

and forget to realize it and act accordingly in daily life.

When someone tells you these cliché-like wisdoms you say yeah obviously

but when you look at your actions, do they reflect your understanding?

So whenever you go through a tough time and feel like the whole world is mad at you,

remember everything passes just like clouds in the sky.

And if the cloud doesn‘t pass by itself,

you can always get out of there with your own initiative by walking or driving out.

P.S:

So I haven‘t told you anything new here,

but maybe I could give you a new perspective that will make you finally do what you heard a thousand times.

And I think that‘s the value that every human life brings;

If you feel like you‘re not special or creative,

remember that the whole meaning of life is that the same things unfold through different forms:

You see the clouds on the sky all will release rain at some point,

so they‘re all doing the same thing.

But some clouds look like a dragon,

other‘s like a bird,

some remind you of a loved one,

others of random objects,

and every cloud has a slightly different form.

So even though they‘re all doing the same thing,

they all have different forms and are doing it in their very own way.

Just like humans.

When you look broad, we humans aren‘t all too different, even though we‘d like to think so.

And when we look narrow, we see that every individual does have his or her unique form, even though we might not feel special ourselves.

So when you can realize both of those truths

and carry them through your life

all while reminding yourself that every cloud i.e. phase of life passes,

maybe that will give you some peace for good.

And maybe it will also encourage you to lean into whatever quirks you have,

whatever makes you unique.

P.P.S:

If you have questions about how to find your uniquenesses and lean into them

in a constructive way, or about anything else,

feel free to leave them in the comments below

as I always aim to write about what interests and helps people.

Meaning your question might turn into the next Blog.

I look forward to seeing you in the comments!

Thanks for reading!

Yours sincerely
