My Vim Awakening: From Terminal Noob to Keyboard Warrior!

So today, I had my mind-blown moment with Vim that legendary text editor that’s basically the Maharaja of code editors! I am gonna write about VIM IDE it is my first experience You know why the cool kids (aka hard-core backend developers) worship at the Vim altar? Because while GUI lovers are playing with their fancy mouse clicks, Vim users are out here flying through code at keyboard speeds that would make Usain Bolt jealous! here you can edit write code without touching mouse cursor just keyboard which make very fast editing and writing.

Mind-Blowing Realizations:

No mouse involved? Check!

Speed that makes other editors look like they’re moving through molasses

The power of being able to edit entire files while your friends are still finding their cursor!

Today I learned basics commands

1. open your terminal and make a directory
2. create a file ex — touch hello.extension name
3. use command vim fileName

4.press i to start editing

5. to save the file and exit press :wq 6. to navigate h j k l

6. to return in normal mode use esc

So yeah! that it for today..

This is just Day 1, but I can already feel the Vim addiction kicking in. Who needs GUI when you have the raw power of terminal + keyboard?
