Been Awhile

I had some time and so I thought I would stop by and just do a little update here, even though nobody comes around lol.

A lot has changed for me in the pasy almost 2 months. For the last 2 years I worked at a dead end job. A place that gave no guaranteed hours. They would cancel your shifts on you because you weren’t one of their favorites. The pay sucked. The job sucked. I was doing market research so I was cold calling and doing surveys over the phone across Canada. I have actually been doing this kind of job off and on for almost 20 years and this last time was with my third company. I used to enjoy it back in the day when I was able to freely talk with people and people wanted to do the surveys. This last place I was only allowed to read the script or we would get written up.

Anyways, the job market sucks and I found a job with full time hours and working from home!! So far it seems pretty good. Today I had a coach training and learned I was doing some things wrong that we learned in training but now I am aware and will correct it. I hope I succeed. I always get nervous before my probation is done because I can’t afford to lose this job.

Also, I have applied for my business license to start my own publishing house. My husband started writing a book last year and we want to try to do everything ourselves.

As he wrote his book it became huge and he decided to cut it into three separate books. He is working on editing it right now.

His book is fantasy. It has Dragons, Elves, Gnomes, Giants etc. It isn’t my thing but I really enjoyed it. I am looking forward to reading the edited version as he has already removed and added things. I am so proud of him.

This all has really changed my life and I hope it doesn’t fail on me because I don’t know what I would do.
