New Rooster series on. Rumi in my head.

Rumi’s line is a beautiful standard for how to move through life:

Be a lamp

Bring light, clarity, warmth, perspective.

Be a lifeboat

Help people survive hard moments. Offer safety, steadiness, care.

Be a ladder

Help people rise. Open a way forward without needing the spotlight.

Rumi had it right. Be a lamp when someone needs light, a lifeboat when they’re sinking, and a ladder when they’re ready to rise.

Not everyone needs advice. Sometimes they need light, rescue, or a way up.

Goals for this era: less noise, more lamp. Less judgment, more lifeboat. Less ego, more ladder.
