Darkness and Light

Another poem from my book

Where light abides and darkness hides, hidden within the same chambers, as I compartmentalize.

As yin and yang no one to blame as these things that exist in a dance without a name.

Day by day I vacillate back from love to hate as my divinity breaks through and my shadows abate.

Not black or white or wrong or right but forged as one through this tumulus fight.

I stand up tall as I crumple and fall accumulating wisdom and strength because of it all.

Where light abides and darkness hides upon this weary soul unfractured by two sides.
